Ok, I've seen several reviews for this game on UA-cam and they all fail to make mention of the right mouse click. By hitting the right mouse button the ball in front of the frog switches places with the ball in the rear of the frog. A good player will really workout their hand muscles, from using both the left and right buttons so intensly.
OK I FOUND IT ... for the Nintendo DS its not called ZUMA it has a different name "Magnetica" looks a little different but still the same gameplay from what I seen on a youtube video of the demo! I think I may try it out though! but thought I would post that for people wanting this on the NDS
Little Miss Gamer (UA-cam user InecomCompany) also covered this in an episode called Gamer, Interrupted. It shows some of the very serious side-effects of prolonged exposure to Zuma. Watch out, Mark!!
Zuma is based on the Puzz Loop arcade games from the 90s. They had a perfect port of Puzz Loop out for the first PlayStation about 10 years ago and now for the life of me I don't remember the name. All I know is I played that for hours, and I still play Puzz Loop on MAME as well as the occasional Zuma type game. It's such a great, simple concept.
Hey please help me out I know u said this is on all systems but I can not find it any where online for the nintendo DS! I would really like this game I love peggel cause of your review I found that game! but now this one looks just as good if not more intense! So is there a copy of this game for the NDS or is it only for the big systems?
There was an arcade game back in the day that played a lot like Zuma. I can't remember the name. But pop cap pulled it off better. I have been playing this game for YEARS ! And I'm still addicted. If you like Zuma you would also enjoy Luxor. It is like Zuma with a space invader twist.
I noticed you never changed the ball color. You know you can change the ball color the frog has in its mouth for the one coming up by pressing the B button (I think).
+Nz Knight After watching this review, I wanna get it for either the PS3 or Xbox 360. I got about $5-6 in each account, so whatever I have the more money in, I will download.
I have this on my PC & Mac computers...Very addictive. Can't stop playing. All five computers so no matter where I am in the house or the road...I know I can have a fix lol. Xbox version looks identical it seems.
Never thought of Mark Bussler selling PopCap in an alleyway shifty-eyed in an overcoat like narcotics but the games look like they are made of enticing boiled travel sweets.
I hope the Genesis or Dream cast make a come back one day. There is a rumor on Yahoo going around that the Dream Cast is making a come back. Not the message board or IM either.
The console version is harder to play as you use the analog stick to point, w/c can be annoying to target unlike a mouse pointer.. anyway a nice game on PS3/360
I love Zuma, but I've tried the 360 demo and the 360 controller isn't really good for it imo. I like playing it on the computer and on the DS as Magnetica.
I dont really recommend this to people who have already played this on the pc. The xbox controller really gets me frusterated and sometimes costs me the game.
Nostalgia :')
This is my childhood I still play itt in 2020
Tb asfff still remember playing it on the first gen ps3
Reminds me of Puzzle Bobble/Bust A Move, which I used to play the crap out of on the Sega Saturn and PS1. Might be worth a download.
This is an intense game and that "heartbeat" makes it more stressful to the end. Overall it is a fun game.

Actually, if there was enough concessions made, Zuma could work on the 2600. Joystick and 1 button. I should check to see if someone has tried it...
Worked out yet that you can switch between the ball in the frog's mouth and the one in reserve?

Great review my friend. :)

Like most Pop Cap games, Zuma has been relased for multiple platforms. I play the PC version.
man,i remember playing this on my old PC.that game was soo good!

Busting balls on Zuma Deluxe is the greatest thing and the most fun you can possibly have while playing an app.

Playing this game right now on my ps3. Pretty challenging.

Bro same
hey you should do a review of game called "luxor" its very similar to zuma and its awesome
i actually would love to see this game on the 2600. i know you were joking but it would be epic.
This game wasn't on DS until the 22nd! Still can't find the ROM, though... >.
I got the demo for this with my 360, really fun and a big demo
if it looks good in hi-def, it will kick ass in Blu-Ray
I have this on my PC & Mac computers...Very addictive. Can't stop playing. All five computers so no matter where I am in the house or the road...I know I can have a fix lol. Xbox version looks identical it seems.
you should review bejeweled 2 for psn i think its also for xbla if you want to review it on 360
this game is so incredibly addictive! :D i wish i still had my 360 so i would have this on it :(
Never thought of Mark Bussler selling
PopCap in an alleyway shifty-eyed
in an overcoat like narcotics but
the games look like they are made
of enticing boiled travel sweets.
@zattle123 i think pop tab should increase there free trial to 10 days on zuma instead of 1 hour
i love this game you can become addicted to it ,i played it on psc awesome game . my eyes turn red for no t blinking for a long period of time.
This game is addictive I used to play it all the time on my PC. lol
And the color problem with the atri, I could see how it'd work, but people would be miffed trying to figure out colors.
There's a DS game called Magnetica that pretty much the same gameplay.
are you going to review the DSi
Truer words have never been spoken.
Does anyone know Puzz Loop? It's the original Zuma-style game for the arcade. Pretty nice, but you really want a mouse or a paddle for this.
havent tried it on xbox but i have played it a lot on pc. I would guess that it is easier to play with mouse than pad
they should make a LUXOR game for the xbox 360
They did.
This is on the Ps3 on the pS store
I hope the Genesis or Dream cast make a come back one day. There is a rumor on Yahoo going around that the Dream Cast is making a come back. Not the message board or IM either.
is this on disc or its have to be downloaded and pay with your credit card on Xbox 360 ?
Got this on PS3 and love it (also on pc too)
Zuma
I played this on an airplane, and it is hard as hell to aim with a d-pad. Especially when you have to take a guess at what you are aiming at
The console version is harder to play as you use the analog stick to point, w/c can be annoying to target unlike a mouse pointer..
anyway a nice game on PS3/360
I played it a couple years ago. I don't think I even got 1 achievement on it.
I love Zuma, but I've tried the 360 demo and the 360 controller isn't really good for it imo. I like playing it on the computer and on the DS as Magnetica.
Not as addicting as Peggle but still a blast.
I was horrible at this game since i was like 5 and strategic thinking wasnt exactly my strong suit
@zattle123 you would like luxor 2 there is almost no difrence
Zuma is soooooo addicting....
i love this game! its so addicting!
can you get it on the computer because i have the computer version
Why do this game called it Zuma instead of Luxor? Am I the only one that this game is very similar to Luxor?
Zuma sounds better ;)
Zuma was released about 2 years before Luxor
I tried this game in the arcade and lost on the first level. I'm going to grab this for PS3 and plan to use my arcade stick to redeem myself.
fred is the number 1 subscribed on youtube?
wtf you live under a rock or something o.O
i finished that game zuma deluxe now i downloaded zumas revenge and having trouble with the 5th boss lol
There is a sequel to this game, and in my opinion it is even better.
its like 200MSP right now on xbox live.
good game. i got it for pc and it's fun :)
POPCAP FTW!!!
this game is more for the cellphones or quick games only to pass the time.
I think i'll keep playing my ZUMA on linux.
