  • The tragedy of Len Bias' unfortunate passing often overshadows just what a good player he was while playing at Maryland. Bias was a back-to-back ACC Player of the Year in 1985 and 1986. He averaged 23.2 points per game in the 1985-86 season, which currently ranks 3rd highest in Maryland history, and for his career Bias is the Terrapins"' third-highest scorer. Take a look at some of Len Bias' iconic ACC basketball highlights right here.

@@johnking1233 I'm a die hard Lakers fan, and Georgetown fan. However, Len Bias will always be my all-time favorite player. And even though the Lakers beat the Celtics for the NBA Title in 87, I felt personally robbed that Bias wasn't there to add further intrigue to the series. The Celtics even in the heat of the rivalry vs my Lakers, was about to quietly be my 2nd favorite team to root for. R.I.P. to the man they called "Frosty".

I can definitely see the comparison with MJ. That jump shot looks impossible to guard. Just like Mikes.
Jordan didn't make his career off of Dunks, he made it off those un-guardable pull-up jumpers of his. Hardest shot in basketball to guard. Len has the similar shot, just a little different as he extends a little higher and is able to shoot over peoples heads a little more. His shot and release reminds me a little of Bill Cartwright...except with more movement like MJ. He had it.
