International Men’s Day just went by so we want to celebrate some really important men in football - fathers. Fathers play a very influential role in the lives of footballers and that’s what we want to look at today. These are 5 footballers who would be nowhere without their fathers.
And we’ll start with Kylian Mbappe. This guy first has to thank his father for his genes. We saw the goal Wilfried Mbappe scored from Eden Hazard’s assist in that charity game and you could instantly tell that’s where Mbappe got his skills from.
Son Heung-min, for example. His father, a former footballer himself, used to subject him to really serious training sessions when he was younger. The Spurs forward himself said that his dad would make him juggle a ball for 4 straight hours. FOUR HOURS!

My dad makes me train for hours and always watches my matches whenever he is off from work. He takes me to a local football pitch where all my friends and boys who are a few years older than me play at. And I am known to have the shooting of Ronaldo and the dribbling of Messi but my dad said I shouldn’t let that get to my head. My friends say I am very lucky to have a dad who trains me very well.

im 13 i play against men a lot in my local football pitch and there way bigger than me and im better than them says them and when i play my age group in my academy its so easy oh and what training drills do you and your father do i never do drills i just play football matches for 3-4 hours a day

My dad teach me to work hard on passing and defending the ball that is why I can play CDM,CAM and CM.
Dad should also teach you how to dribble since midfielders especially CAMs have to dribble the ball from the teammates side of the pitch to their enemies side of the pitch, I’d also advice stamina cause running from one side of the pitch to another can be very tiring
In my opinion a midfielders main role is to take the ball from their defenders on the opposition’s side of the pitch and dribble the ball to the pitch their striker is on, so they can pass to the striker it’s very tiring I’ll tell you that
My dad makes me train every day for hours and we always improve something and he makes shure I eat healthy and when he’s at work he makes shure with my mum that I train at home

Without my cousin I would not be this good at soccer at the a the age of four he would teach me goalkeeping and at kindergarten I was had a tough time learning soccer pri primary 'made fun of me the next year in primary primary I got a whole year to practise soccer and now I,m a legend at soccer just at the age of six

7 years ago when I was 5 I saw my dad playing with my big cousin so I said dad I want to play and he too so he took me to a field where me and my brother played with much bigger kids but I was like messi and my father saw my talent 😊❤
