Thank you, Sir, for telling your story. I am 80, and deceased husband was in Patton's 3rd Army and he would not talk about his experience liberating a camp and what they found. Bless you and may your family be proud to be your family.

The best part is there is no one bit of unwanted sentence in his whole narrative.
It was like reading from a stone tablet.
    Nothing can be erased.

I love him, and thank you so much to his Fathers friend for keeping his word. His father died, trying to save his family. How devastating. No one deserved this, no one. And God knows, one day, (if you haven’t already) you will be reunited with your family, who lost their lives in such a cruel way. I have a 9-year-old son, and could only imagine his fear. Praise God, you made it. I am also a Michigander. And I’m so happy you made your way here. ❤️

Jack Gun, you are a beautiful soul. Thank God that you encountered true Christians. I am a Christian and like to think that i would have done the same as your father's friend did (as well as other Christians), and that i love God with all my heart and soul and my neighbor as I love myself. I don't know if I would have had the courage to do so. May God grant rest to every person who helped the Jews survive and to every soul who suffered during this war. Thank you for telling your story. ☦️☦️☦️

Wonderful, we don't hear a lot about people who had experiences like his. Wonderfully articulate and descriptive.... I'm 72, and we did learn about the Holocaust in school... Anne Frank was required reading, I forget what grade. Everyone must know and remember it..... that we should never allow such to happen again.

The horrors of human wickedness. The humanity that was lost. Horrible. And unfortunately it IS starting again. And it is going to get worse. And the hate is fomenting and people see the group that is enduring persecution and they don't care. But it has been foretold to happen in the bible. And so, we prepare. Integrity is the key.
