Wow! Thanks Pablo! Don't know how I never noticed this. I just tested it out: 1) OTG in laptop and other end in flight controller WORKS 2) OTG in flight controller and other end in laptop DOESN'T WORK This is gonna save me from switching the cable most of the time now. I bet I'm still gonna get it wrong... LoL thanks again!!
This will not work on Goggles V2 the option to record "Camera View Recording" setting is missing on V2s. Without it, OSD wont show up on SD card or Phone output.
An OTG cable is called "On-The-Go". It usually allows a device to be a "host" and control other devices such as USB drives, keyboards, etc. In this case, it allows the goggles to communicate to the tablet/phone. I received the OTG cable shown in the video with my Avata Pro View Combo pack. You can buy OTG cables from eBay or even at local computer/office supplies stores.
It works the same on the Vista. I have another video I'm about to post that isn't directly focused on this feature, but it shows that it works just the same. I have an idea on how I could test the latency, so I'll try to make a video on that too.
Thank you! It works with both mi pixel 6a and my iPad
I think usb otg adapter always work in one direction because in usb there has to be a "Host" and a "device", so only one side is the host side

but why even an adapter needed both devices have same USB C port !
What is the latency on the phone screen
Hi nice video! Can you try to stream the live feed through the Transmission > RTMP settings.
Can you use the motion controller with the avata and still stream it to the tablet?
Or does it have to be the remote?

so usb c to usb c directly would not work?
No, not working. You need an OTG adapter.
nice but have no idea where I put this DJI piece of cable :( did you try would it stream also to meta goggles DJI fly installed via apk
Not sure if the USB C to C works. I've only had it work with the OTG cable. Also I don't have meta goggles to try
@nxp200 what is a OTG cable? I dont even know if I got one with my Avata package. If I got it's lost

will any ATG from Amazon work? The are really cheap and support fast speeds

does it work on vista?
I haven't tried, but I believe it does. I'll give it a try if I get a chance and let you know
Will this work with the iOS app?
how about over wifi?
Sorry. I don't think live view over wifi is supported
How did your test do with the vista?
It works! I haven't had time to record the video yet.
Thanks for the video.
Would be interested to see how it works on the Vista and on the latency!
