  • After leaving Dawson City we headed south towards Whitehorse where we met up with some friends we made back in Alaska. After spending an evening with them, tinkering with the bike and fitting new tyres, we were on the road again headed for British Columbia.
We stopped in carcross to see the world's smallest desert and then visited Liard hot springs. The Stewart Cassier highway lead us to Stewart and the border with Hyder, Alaska. We crossed back into the USA and took a dirt road up to the famous Salmon Glacier view point (which actually crossed the border again back into BC).
After leaving Stewart we made our way west along highway 99 and found ourselves taking a side trip to the mining village of Bralorne. Here we attempted a steep track to a ski cabin that didn't end how we planned.
All is well and we are ready to move onto Vancouver island.

Glad you’re both ok and bike not damaged. Amazingly steep track! Bet the cabin was worth the experience.😊

Thanks Dave, appreciate it! The otters were amazing. Nearly ran the battery flat on the drone out there trying to film them! Phew!

The scenery up in the mountains/lakes is just stunning. A bit like Scotland… only on steroids!
