I really like your helpful tips. Thanks for your insight! I've been camping and portaging for decades but I am always open to learning new things. Cheers!
What a beautiful getaway!! Algonquin is the cleanest park I’ve seen; dense and super-varied forests with lots of silence! Awesome video Ev, thanks for sharing this memory.
Another awesome trip guys. As always I was excited to watch it! The video and editing is getting better as well… some great shots and transitions. Can’t wait to adventure with you guys!
Enjoyed this video. What a great little trip. And the hamock tips are on point. On my 15 dayer I can honestly say there was only maybe 3 nights I had it dialed right in and felt like I was is heaven. OHHHH and loved the dance moves at the end! :)
Oh wow thanks a lot for watching and commenting! I’m so happy to hear the tips are helping, the hammock stuff can be especially tricky. Here’s to hoping to find that you find that heavenly spot every time🙌
Great video! Just wanted to say the fish you caught is a Splake. Brook Trout have “square” tails & yours has a very distinct “V” tail which Splake have. Good luck fishing 🎣!!
Amazing trip!! Loved the video especially the close ups of cooking over the fire. You got a nice selection of flies but the good ol' woolly bugger or kreelex always seems to get the job done eh (I carry a hundred flies out there and always end up using the same 3 😂)
@philrudachuk4904 hey my friend it’s called the GOSO folding grill made in Canada we have loved it! Looks like they have an affiliate program I should consider haha. Let me know if you can find it alright
Brent! Be careful paddling cedar though it’s a really dangerous lake to be paddling in the spring. Make sure you’re able to self rescue out on the water and keep some dry clothes handy, it’s a big crossing.

Nice trip guy's and a lot of good tips!
Hey thanks a lot for watching! Did you find any that you might try?
@@Evan_Le5 Surfer dude tree measurement is good way to remember and packing the canoe to paddle straighter.😁
Heck ya I’m happy that helped!!🛶
Never thought about using sheepskin while hammocking. Def will have to try - so damm comfy !!!!
Oh it it a game changer for sure you won’t want to get up🤣

Oh wow thank you for pointing that out I never realized! I’ve changed the title and I’ll be sure to be more aware next time.
It was a brrok trout. It was just the angle of the camera that made it appear that way. There are no splake in algonquin rivers
Hey good timing was looking for a vid to watch 👋😎👍
Cheers thanks for watching!🙌
Great video, where did you get that stand for the fire pit?
Thanks a lot! The grill is made by GOSO

Aye thanks for watching Derek I was just about to watch your video!! The bugger does it every time I was considering a muddler but maybe next time🎣
Great way to start the season Glad you had good weather! :)
Thanks a lot for watching and the kind comment Curtis! Looks like summers just about here I hope you’re enjoying the new canoe🛶☀️
Great catch, looks like the perfect time to get up there. So nice to have you dad join you, he looks quite experienced as well.
Thanks a bunch for watching!! I definitely owe it to poppa Pete for catalyzing my love for nature
Newly subbed, great video. Thanks for sharing. What kind of campfire grill did you use?
Hey Jim thank you that means a lot! We used the Suluk 46 ultralight grill, it’s as light as a feather
Hi great video, also looking for info on the folding grill you have. Tried to find it online and had no luck, any link you could share?
