How to disassemble & repair Makita BHR202/DHR202 18V cordless rotary SDS-PLUS hammer drill

In this video I'll show how I make a cheap fix of a Makita BHR202/DHR202 18V cordless rotary hammer drill. If you have a similar issue, and you don't fixit by change the MOSFET, you probably have to change the swich, because it is burned to.

I have the same drill but my issue is when i compare it with another identical model is that my drill lacks power. It has slightly less rpm. Why is that? Bad rotor or this mosfet? Btw the switch was replaced...

First, open the drill, verify if the button goes all the way down when is pushed.
To verify if the inside switch is the problem, put a battery on, press the switch at maximum, with a multimeter verify the tension on the battery, then verify the tension after the switch, if is lower, then the switch is not working properly.

I've a bran new one of these and will only engage in the first setting on the drill the other two hammer it one spin any ideas

Verify the commutator, that engage the drill settings, if it is in the right position and it's not broke. It has a claw inside, if it's broken or it's pushing in the wrong way, the hammer function it can't be activated.
