In this video I'm going to give tips and guide on how to play Julian
So Julian is a fighter / mage and is quite versatile in terms of role
He can be played as offlane, jungler and even mid-lane mage

I use flicker for him because most of the time when I'm out of my skills I get caught so I use it for escape, also 1-2-flicker-3 combo is my fave you can easily kill the mage or mm
Yea. And Using flicker can help synergize in that last enchanced 1st skill poke

I prefer to used Sprint to immunized the CC.
yes you can also use a 2-3-1 flicker combo for escaping with the chance to kill enemies
And Also I preferred to used Lightning Truncheon
i usually do the 2 3 1 combo in a 1v1 situation, it's more helpful cuz it bursts the enemy in a second without giving them a chance to escape because of the 3rd's immobilize
Yeah I don't know why eligin doesn't use it that often it can easily take any squishy hero like butter and if the enemy is tanky it can make him lose about 70% of his hp

i combine this combo with petrify

I always get more kill with this combo, i hide in bush,then when enemy enter the bush i immoblize them,then dash for safety distance and then enhance first skill..if they didnt die yet only 1 or 2 basic attack will finish them easily,enemy cant do anything accept they can escape my 3rd skill with quick reaction
Fun fact: when you use enchance basic attack of julian to tower, the damage from julian to tower is increase so it easy to push using him like bane
i’d still save skill 2 enhanced when destroying towers for in case i need to escape

Bruh thats common knowledge... Its an enhanced basic attack ofc it deals more damage, Not only bane but also guinevere, Alucard, Dyrroth and SO ON CAUSE THERES TOO MANY
I think he’ll be much more scarier when he has over 40% cdr cuz that’ll make his skills only come back after 2-3s so there’s nothing stopping from keeping on in fights, but ofc it’ll maybe slightly lessens his dmg output compared to Elgin’s build here cuz just like what he said, it’s all about user preference :3
Kinda like Aamon(gus), his basic atks are magic dmg but with in-addition that it pulls enemies closer, so like aamon, aspd items could also work but like once again it will lower his skills dmg output, focusing more on his basic atks than his combos.
Overall, I think he’s pretty an alright hero, wouldnt rly think of him as a priority pick or well over a priority ban _(as of so far yet)._ a versatile hero that can do many combos without much restraint and will be the next aamon(gus) to simp for xD

Feather of heaven, Holy Crystal and Calamity Reaper combo works perfectly on him
Along side Genius Wand and Concentrated Energy he's a monster ... attack speed + magic life steal and damage is insane on him

Can you make a video about the transformers event, cuz when I checked earlier the free 10x tokens when you recharge 250 diamonds is not there. Luckily I checked first before recharging diamonds.

The New update is so lag and keep me crashing like 30 seconds, even though im on lite mode, so my game would not lag or crash, but why I crash everytime, I didnt even tap the smooth-high graphics, pls Help :(

This is the best guide and tutorial video i found on Julian. Most of the videos are like only gameplay based tutorials, doesn't even speak or write. But this is gameplay + tutorials + tips.
Reaching long range enemies-1 2 3
One on one short range fight,getting out of the right and clearing minions- 1 3 2
Reaching enemies that are escaping- 2 3 1
Julian is just like the early paquito and he clears minions very fast

I was experimenting with his build in practice mode and this is the one that i liked the most (pretty similar to yours)
Arcane boots, Genious Wand, Calamity Reaper, Concentrated energy, Divine Glaive, Holy Crystal (Or defence)

Trash build tbh, Julian needs a little bit of sustain (2 or 3 def item
this is the same as mine but i buy holy crystal first before divine glaive because my enemies rarely buy magic def
Genius wand really isn’t that great late game, I would switch it out for Athena Shield or Brute force for late game sustain
I haven't played julian yet but i want to share my build : cd boots, enchanted talisman, genius wand, concentrate energy, (the last 2 is optional) have fun trying this build!
Feather of heaven seems like an obvious choice here. Besides the attack speed, its unique passive would work well for damage

Nahh void staff, ludens, abbadon, rylai, zhonya is the best item for her
Combos (my experience):
1-2-3 : Stun Combo [For teamfight set]
1-3-2 : Escape or Fast clear combo [For minions or immunity]
My favorite:
2-3-1 : Stun OneShot.
Explain: Using 2nd skill for Mobility and kill a single opponent faster. [Good for Marksmans because it's a oneshot.]
5 matches, 100% winrate.
I think you need some attack speed item such as feather of heaven to get attack speed for julian and also remove calamity for holy crystal if you want to get more magic power
Calamity for true damage just in case someone buys radiant armor
I use clock of destiny at first then calamity reaper next. I don't use the lifesteal build
My build is Arcane boots, feather,calamity reaper, genius wand, brute, holy crystal

His enhanced 1st is pretty good in teamfights because among all 3 skills, it has the highest overall dmg. Very useful in a teamfight especially if ur team has sufficient cc so u don't need to help the team with ur enhanced 3rd. That's what I use in teamfights specially with tigreal or atlas
Juilian's insanely strong, anybody who goes near Julian with 4000 HP gets instantly deleted, he has a really high sustain and with Dominance Ice, you have extra more mana and sustain against lifesteal/atk spd heroes.
I killed lvl. 12 Harith with lvl. 9 julian. Harith was leading the kill in enemy. This hero is totally broken.🤣
I personally recommend core julian because of his early dmg and he can steal or get objectives with ease and he can easily kill the enemy core in just lvl 3 and his hight damage in early to late is elite and skl i got savage in julian in just my 3rd match because of u thank you so much idol and ill continue to support u

I think that Julian as a jungler is actually decent. I tried it and he clears the jungle quite fast.
He is a great solo laner, his wave clear speed allows you to quickly end a wave and to travel to another lane to help out, and his sustain means he doesn't have to go back to the base very often. His skill one is perfect for poking in the early game and his 2 3 1 is perfect for ambushing and reaching a squishy (might want to manually aim it as I found fighting people near bushes caused me to miss the 3 1 skills). CC is his worst nightmare since he is a sustain fighter, and if you don't build many defense items then you might want to play like an assassin and kill the carries on the back line or else you will be melted down while the tank has your attention. I really want to try and build him super tanky and sustainable
For those that wanna ambush with Julian, just wait for an enemy to get closer to you while your hiding in the bush then use skill 2 (dash to the enemy) if they're close enough, use skill 3 afterwards to immobilize them, stopping them from escaping and after that, finish them with enhanced skill 1. If they don't die, just basic ATK them or retreat. Simple 🗣️

I was playing julian yesterday and i got a maniac at my 2nd game and it was mid game and i was really strong,this hero is sooooo op
This is a great video. When I use julian, I always think of a very close combat so I can do the 3-1-2. 3 for immobilization, 1 for dmg and 2 for magic pen dmg. Ive been using it but several matches later, ive been losing and losing. After I watched your video, It helps me alot to become a better assassin reaper. Thanks for the tip man!. I played him 5 times in classic and I got all mvps. My combo is 1,3,2 for true damage
And if you're the jungler, fastest clearance is either 3,2,1 or 2,3,1. It works both ways
The 1st skill combo is good for 1v1. The 2nd skill combo is good for team fights and clearing the waves. The 3rd skill combo is good for ganking and stunning the opponents. When jungling with Julian, it's best to get the 3rd skill for crowd damage since the 1st skill disappears after hitting a jungle creep.
Julian is one of the most op-est hero I've ever have

U can even replace concentrated energy with oracle cause oracle can boost Julian's passive magic lifesteal and grant him more hp since he is squishy. Winter truncheon also can help alot to help u buy time when skill are in cooldown
I think the one problem is his low skill cool down it’s very unfair to other play because in a matter of seconds after a single combo he could do it again and with high damage.
Yeah he basically has 3 ults with low cool downs. But I don’t think he’s broken by any means. Certainly not more than Yin or Wanwan
Yes he is good but if we think about op, i think wanwan yin and irethel are more op than him. Better watch out for those 3 heroes in the battlefield
on the other hand he has no ultimates so he is very easy to wipe out with two or three heroes' ultimates in combination. Chain stun and basic attack Julian and he is R.I.P.
Bottomline is the last of the 3 skill casted will have the enhanced effect. 123 and 213 both have the same knock up effect. 312 and 132 have enhanced dash and 321 and 231 have more damage and will stop on hit. The variations will always depend on the situation/gameplay.
Considering he has so many poke and CC skills, he can be good Roamer honestly
Not to mention a tank builds are the meta
yep, glowing wand and genius wand will work well on him as well as concentrated energy for sustain

Instead of memorizing the skill combo pattern,leave the skill you want to use for last and use the 2 skills in any order you want.I tried it.I approve
He's so similar to paquito, enhanced skills, insane damage, hard combo but can get used to after lots of matches and experience.

I use a unique build and spell for him which is feather of heaven, golden staff, oracle, enchanted talisman, and bloodlust axe and inspire. I realized that if you use all your combo quickly, the 45% cdr is helpful that gives you about 4 secs of cooldown for all of your skills. Oracle and bloodlust axe for more spell vamp and heal. And inspire, feather of heaven, and golden staff for when your skills are in cooldown. I just like inspire that much lol. After playing 1 match with him, I think his magic life steal is too good if paired with his damage, not to mention the items he get in late game. Like, imagine using only 3 skills and getting back to full hp from like 10% or maybe even 1%.
Brutal force is one of the best item for him sustainability + speed+ defence physic

I tested julian out and i find this build and emblem quite interesting
Build : Arcane boots, Enchanted talisman, Calamity reaper, Feather of heaven, Holy crystal, and Immortality ( the last two are situational ). Emblem : Cd Reduction 3/3, Magic Lifesteal 3/3, Magic Worship. Enchanted Talisman, Calamity Reaper, And feather of heaven for mana, cdr, damage, and attack speed. The last two i mostly use as full magic/full defense, depends on the situation im in. I put cdr for emblem so i have exactly 45% cdr. I can use all of julians skills again in 3 seconds. And magic lifesteal is added so i dont need to buy concetrated energy.

But if its already late game i usually switch it with something else depending on the situation

Julian as mid mage is quite tuff because of his melee range
5 Games so far and I find Combo Faking a good call. Most enemy I went against back away from a wave if I do 2 consecutive skills.

My favourite combo for Julian's skills would be 1,2,3 or 1,3,2
2.3.1 is the The Broken one lmao
I build in order:
CD boots
COD
Genius wand
Holy crystal
Concentrated energy
And winter truncheon or immortality.
I feel way safer with sustain items and I can still burst down the enemy easily.
Plus I get tons of health and i can tank damage after securing a kill.
I like him as a tank jungle, that first skill is op af at 231 combo and it's easy to clear jungle even using tanky items.

This is the build i use
arcane boots - genius wand - feather of heaven - shadow twinblades - divine glaive - bloodwings or winter truenchon
You can also do 3 2 1 if there is 2 or 3 enemy in your lane to clear the creeps.
Haven't play him since he is contested but for my suggestion build a bit Tanky Julian is dashless flicker is what everyone uses also I think it's a 50-50 worth banning or picking he's is tricky to use combo is easy
Tank Julian
I had 10 9 16 first game with no tank of course bcs in classic no one tanks...i think he is ok, not broken but okay. If you have good tank its gg, his damage is pretty high, but he lacks escape mechanism and sustain, which is why i prefer other fighters like Dyrroth or X borg.
My favorite combo is 132 with his immunity it's so fun
I just spam 3-2-1 coz the amount of poke he can deal is just insane...what can i say... im a marksmen player i play like a pussy 😭🤣🤣

My build for him: Arcane boots or demon shoes, genius wand, ice queen wand, feather of heaven, holy crystal and divine glaive.
Ice queen wand for that juicy slow and extra lifesteal, concentrated energy can be used but I think it's too much for him since his passive gives you 25 extra life steal.
Feather of heaven for that magic damage and atk speed.
Holy crystal for scaling and divine glaive for penetration, also genius wand for reducing def.
basically use the last skill that you wanted to enhance. 1-sustain damage 2-scape 3-crowd control.

i like the feature where he leaves a trail if his passive is avalable just lile Argus

Arcane boots, genius wand, clock of destiny, lightning Truncheon, magic crystal, divine glaive
I prefer this even though it has no sustain item because the damage is ridiculous and if you spam the enhanced 1st skill, it can pretty much one hit squishy heroes even in late games.
Arcane boots, genius wand, feather, shadow twinblades, reaper and blood wings also work pretty well.
My preferences only.
If only I can pick him in classic before others 😩😩😩

I recommend using flicker or sprint(or any other spell for escape) to get out of situations like a team fight or a gank, I'd probably choose execute or vengeance if the enemies aren't that strong
Flicker is more viable since he can combo so much with his enhanced skills
But sprint is fine too i guess

Look and skills of an assassin + mechanics of a fighter + damage of a mage = Julian
I use Frozen truncheon for survivability after casting all of your skill, pretty effective for outplaying
I prefer clock of destiny over calamity reaper since cod gives a lot of hp and a lot more magic power too. We can't abuse the calamity reaper passive enough because of Julian's passive, you only get to activate calamity reaper passive every 5-6 sec. You don't want to cast basic atks in between skills bc that would delay your combo
cod, genius wand, concentrated energy, holy crystal, bloodwings/immortality
You get decent amount of hp with this build and also, Julian's skills will hit harder. Enhanced basic atk also deals 1k dmg consistently. Problem is you have to keep up with the 6 sec cooldown of your skills, which I think is fairly fine, just make sure your skills hit enemies so you gain 105% magic lifesteal from Julian's passive
I strongly suggest Ice Queen Wand for him as 1st item (after PEN shoes).
Lifesteal, slow down, movement speed - just perfect for Julian.
After that I usually buy Genius Wand, Concentrated energy, Glowing wand/Divine Glaive and Calamity Reaper.
For spell - flicker or sprint.
No need for defensive items. His passive + IQW+CE give him insane sustain after his combo.
Also, his Mag Power scaling is poor, so CoD or Magic Crystal make little sense for him.

Preferred build:
Arcane boots-calamity reaper-genius wand-feather of heaven-holy crystal-last item maybe winter truncheon or any defense item
Combo:
1-2-3 engaging long distance enemy with knockup
3-1-2 defensive combo if the opponents try to gank you
2-3-1 recommended combo for fast clearing minions/jungle creeps or bursting down enemies if the 3rd skill hits and immobilized hero inside the skill
I don't think concentrated energy is needed for this hero because he has already 25%magic lifesteal passive every 5 seconds
But still it's too early so I'm waiting to see how pro players can execute this hero on the current meta

Julian as a jungler is a cherry on the cake
I figured out his combos in practice mode then tried him on a match. Got me 16 kills and mvp :) i then played a few matches with him.
-is he good for beginners? A little combo practice then he's great.
I use 1/2/3 for enemies with high hp,
I use 1/3/2 for enemies with low hp and high atk, i use the burst deck.

Argus will work really well against him since Argus can just ult before dying from Julian's combo and kill him afterwards. (Julian can't escape Argus after the combo since he no longer has a dash unless he has flicker or sprint)
I believe he might be one of those heroes that can easily counter athena/radiant,
*THATS A LOT OF DAMAGE*
I recommend semi tank build Julian...yeah he can be a one shot hero but this is tank meta it's sustain over dmg.

This is the build:
Magic Shoes
Genius Wand
(Situational) Clock Of Destiny
Concentrated Energy
Feather Of Heaven
The last two slot could be:
Divine Glaive
Immortality
Holy Crystal
Brute Force Breastplate
And Winter Truncheon
For Me jungle Julian is powerful because of his enchance first skill
And to go to the other lines faster to gank is amazing
I often use 1-2-3 and 2-3-1..thanks for the notes
as a lanao del norte senior julian he isnt the best in late game so i recommend ending the game asap before the enemy gets a comeback or level 15 aswell, soon i will become a content creator on ml amd also get my own tutorial and a complete guide

Julian is a op type mage hero every skills have special it's like he can use 6 skills but 4 combo at the time also if you guys noticed his cool down skill is so fast and a little bit tanky I recommend you use flick or petrify there's is no need for execution since his skills can CD fast and cast a skills again I think also Julian can use the meta now the tank jungle emblem try it guys a Julian tank build with jungle emblem he might be one of the strongest who knows he is indeed very useful in clash why is because of CD of his skills

I agree With the build Too Elgin But I think Julian Is Ok With Burst Core I recommend Having Flicker As a Beginner battle Spell And My first Game with Julian is MVP 😁 For a Level 8 difficulty Hero He's Pretty easy 😁

Dont build cd reduction on him. Go full lifesteal and raw magic. You can also go attack speed.

Spell :
inspire/vengeance
Combo :
231 if the enemies is far
321 if enemies is close
312/132 for clearing minions
123/213 for teamfight
i recommend feather of heaven for more attack speed. you need this,the more faster the more magic life steal.
Roam/Tank Julian.
1. Arcane Boots with Dire Hit or Conceal.
2. Clock of Destiny
3. Dominance Ice
4. Antique Cuirass / Athena Shield
5. Immortality
6. Queen's Wing / Oracle.
Mage Emblem with Magic Worship talent.
Spell: Sprint.
For me I like flicker for escaping.I use it right after I use the 1 3 2 combo so I can escape without taking dmg.
His passive skill is one reason why I didn't need to use Concentrated energy
I just used Julian earlier and after two matches (1 win & 1 lose) he ia so easy to use and understand, i got a mvp lose and mvp in those matches.
