yo bro I got a question about how u use samples, are they always in the same key? Because in some vids u use different keys or the same and then pitch them up or down, is there theory behind this or is it just to ear?
If I know what key the sample is in then ill pitch it to the key that im working with for the beat! If not then illnjust keep pitching it up n down until it sounds good. Usually also 5 cemitones up or down from the key ubworking in sounds good too!
