Something that probably summarizes the whole debacle between Mirai and Future Tone/Arcade: Mirai is great for exaggerated movement and facial expressions; they just pop out better and look weird or aren't emphasized correctly in the more realistic models of FT and Arcade. This is most apparent in Sweet Magic and Common World Domination. However, where FT and Arcade are great at making subtle movements not possible in Mirai more apparent such as in Cendrillon/Adolescence and 1925 with their facial expressions and movements.
They makeupfor it with their more animated body expressions since they are able to have better coreography which helps when it comes to overly happy songs with lots of movement. So yes, the expression isn't as overt as in Mirai, but the dance compensates for it. This is something that comes up in AgeAge too,since the dance routine in Mirai was far too dynamic for a Nendoroid.
I love the arcade version better actually. I love seeing Rin bouncing around like a little kid, it really portrays her childish personality even on a full size body. And I find it cuter too~
To be honest I like diva more, but also like the cuteness in mirai. It's a catch 22. I actually wish Diva could make its way to the wii u. I mean I don't see why it couldn't and Nintendo and Sega have mostly good relations.
I think Project Mirai works best with the happier and more upbeat songs. Yet, even though the graphics are simpler, they can portray the story better, take Hello Planet* for instance. I also like the 3D effects, but it hurts my eyes if I look at 3D for more than 5 minutes (eye issues, stigmatism)
I am thinking of getting a Vita for project diva, but idk if I can justify it just for that reason alone, when I've already recently spent quite a bit of money on other things! I have project mirai for my 3ds, and it's absolutely adorable!
You can just play Project Diva and nothing else. I personally have a PS Vita 1000 and play both f and. f2nd. I like playing the other titles that the vita has, like Minecraft, Don't starve, Terraria and Corpse Party. Although I'll recommend you but the f game's in cartridge form since it will use less memory. I bought f as a download and ot used up about 3336 MBs, but I bought F 2nd as a cartridge and it used up about 1083 MBs.
kawaii :DDD I like project diva better. Why? Because: They have more characters like Neru, Haku, and Teto. and it has wayyy better graphics than project mirai. I do have project DX though and ive always want project diva but im not aloud to play my dads ps vita :(
honestly in my opinion arcade should've left some mirai songs alone they seem kinda childish for the project diva modules as for mirai the models are small so its better
