I am an Afrophile, Hispanophile and Hellenophile and Anglophile when it comes to dancing and music. Always have been impressed by music and dance at crossroads. James Brown has always made my body unable to stand still. So the music in this is a solid A. However, the woman in the yellow pants is hauntingly awesome. These awesome dancers not only danced independently of each other, but also danced in sync with each other, now that's talent, this was so mesmerizing and captivating, especially the girl in the yellow pants, she was absolutely crisp and fluid and on point, she definitely has natural soul, and that is not to take away from the other dancers, but the girl in the yellow pants was swinging her arms and popping her hips and swaying her legs with such timing and soul I just couldn't keep my eyes off of her
To use a 70s phrase, "You ain't never lied." Man there wasn't nothing like a stack of albums and just dancing in the basement, somebody barbecuing, sweating, just having fun 😁 These kids just sent me back in time 💯
The choreography perfect. But also the costumes beautifully define the dancers blend of their Asian culture and 70’s black urban soul. James Brown would be proud of his influence around the world on the urban modern dance scene. Excellent representation thank you for posting this.

The fusion the girl in the yellow pants gave was perfect you can feel the black American culture and the Asian culture in all her moves she switches from soul to traditional Asian seamlessly. Beautiful simply Beautiful.

This woman supersedes all those images in my memory with "WOW". Amazing
When it comes to music and entertainment, we're some of the best imitators, nice work.
These ladies have Soul , their dancing looked effortless.I love it
There is actually one male in the group. All the way to the right, behind the checkerboard pantsuit.
As a funk soul musician, all I can say is: KILLER TIGHT! You gotta feel it to do it! Impressive! Well done! Keep it going!
I absolutely LOVED THIS DANCE ROUTINE! Asians dancing to classic black music. BLASIAN STYLE RULES! REUNITE THE EASTERN PEOPLE & PHILOSOPHYS!!
"As John Lennon said: " I hope some day you'll join us and the world will live as one.'
The swagger of the head movement says it all for me. it takes me back to my teenage years. Thank you so much.
These awesome dancers not only danced independently of each other, but also danced in sync with each other, now that's talent, this was so mesmerizing and captivating, especially the girl in the yellow pants, she was absolutely crisp and fluid and on point, she definitely has natural soul, and that is not to take away from the other dancers, but the girl in the yellow pants was swinging her arms and popping her hips and swaying her legs with such timing and soul I just couldn't keep my eyes off of her
They get'n it!! This was us as kids in the 70's ....every Friday and Saturday night---with the adults. LOVE IT!
To use a 70s phrase, "You ain't never lied." Man there wasn't nothing like a stack of albums and just dancing in the basement, somebody barbecuing, sweating, just having fun 😁 These kids just sent me back in time 💯
This video ALWAYS cheers me up. They look like they're having so much fun. :)
BRAVO!!! This was fantastically choreographed! Each one of you KILLED it!
These kids can FEEL the music. Fantastic
EVERYONE did their thing!!! But that girl in the yellow pants absolutely killed it!! WOW
The choreography perfect. But also the costumes beautifully define the dancers blend of their Asian culture and 70’s black urban soul. James Brown would be proud of his influence around the world on the urban modern dance scene. Excellent representation thank you for posting this.
I'm from Atlanta Georgia in the United States y'all are killing that s***. That's how we used to dance when we were kids back in the 70s
I was in High School when this song came out. I'm 70 now and these kids have the dance moves that I remember as we say "down pat'!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!
Not so fast.. there dance is a mixture of asian precision culture. Don't let the James Brown music fool you. NOT THE REAL SOUL TRAIN DANCERS DEAL. I do like the choreography 👍
Yes....so great to see that version of dancing to the music of the late hardest working man in show business , Mr. James Brown!
My parents turn 70 this year. I grew up listening to this, lol. It's great to see other cultures appreciating Black American culture and music, especially the positive kind.
Were you White then too?.
Gaaaahd-daaaaaum! I don't even know where to start with this! Hard to say which is better, the choreography or the execution. And yellow pants, especially, but they were all great, individually and as an ensemble. This is the kind of thing that lifts the spirit! To high heaven!
👏 👏 👏...
Yo!!.. They killed it, I'm a OG Brooklyn Kat... And I respect these dancers keep up the good work... ✌️
Say It Loud, I’m Black And I’m Proud! My people make the soundtrack of the world!!! And y’all interpret it with great style and flare!
Well said!
I think that they'd say that "I'm yellow and I'm proud."
@@crosbonit I don’t know… let’s ask ‘em
HOLY SMOKES!!!!!!! The choreography, style and pinpoint steps are 100% DOPE!!!!!! - Music is the key to bring us together!!
JESUS CHRIST IS THE KEY
The fusion the girl in the yellow pants gave was perfect you can feel the black American culture and the Asian culture in all her moves she switches from soul to traditional Asian seamlessly. Beautiful simply Beautiful.
I grew up listening to JB.
And this dance crew really does his music extreme justice.
I love the individuality, yet everyone is still on beat.
Reminds me of some of the party’s I went to back then.
WELL DONE!!!
Amazing dancers, looking at their shoes they must be absolute professional dancers, they're choreography & rhythm is FANTASTIC !!!
It's about time Asian women are represented in these dances. As a Caribbean female, I absolutely welcome their platform!!! Please keep it coming, ladies. Every culture has its sexiness, bring it ladies!
why dont you say as a human being love this stuff instead of separating your self from normal other races
@@williamhughes962 Thank you William for pointing this out. I agree
@@williamhughes962so now we are supposed to separate ourselves from our culture because you don’t like it?? Please just stop!!🤬
@@tashaburgess3753 just love your brothers and sisters so easy

The choreography is off the chain. Can’t wait for your next one.❤
True.
They nailed 70's funk... Awesome job
Excellent choreography, excellent rebirth of the 1970s. My my my, they deserve an award, all of them. Regards, Michael M. Kamau, Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa, 18th December 2023.
Can not stop watching this. It is so awesome to watch. Everyone dancing is so good. The choreography is great!. Some of those moves I have never seen before. WOW!
Smooth.
I am totally elated to see dancing to this magnitude. I am so proud of this dancing troupe. James Brown would have loved to have seen this. This is so dope!!!!
I hear that. I did.
SO good! Update: I can't seem to get enough of this uplifting video. 💃👯
This video makes me HAPPY and smile every time I see it
This is so far the best performance I've ever seen. Specially the girl on the front with yellow pants. She is amazing. Congratulations to all of you

They Rockin that Soul Train Style all day long! 70’s was the best!!💃🏽🕺🏾 Music transcends all boarders and nationalities. This is a beautiful tribute to the Godfather of Soul and those who played an instrumental role in that era of Black music and dancing !
Damn this killed TF out of this. Shout out from Oakland.
Choreography????
I have no words....what a delight!
I felt like they watched every soul train from the 70s and manifested it perfectly with so much soul and style...this was a vibe.
This is some of the FLYEST choreography I have ever seen!! My only complaint is that it's too short!!! Need more!!!
Ooh you must have not seen the Black group the orginals that they appropriated it from.
Where plz.
Can I just SECOND THAT NOTION?
A looooooonnnnnggeerrrrr version

I too survived Bklyn in the '70s. Also spent Five yrs in Japan; they don't 1/2-ass nuthin'!
Wow!!!! I was not expecting that level of Funk! I am now a fan ❤
Music is universal and these ladies KILLED IT with their funky groove!!! Moga, your choreography with thesm was AH-MAZ-ING!!!! =D
The two girls beside the girl in yellow are also incredible just understated and certain moves and outrageous and others
Yes! The trio in the front had me forget everyone else.
This has to be the funkiest dance group I've ever seen. WOW! Thank you Moga Almeri you are INCREDIBLE! Need to see more of this...
Really😂
Precise, fluid, and totally controlled; this is excellence in artistic expression.
This is excellent. Every move goes perfectly with the beat and words. I especially loved the part when their arms are moving wildly to “highhhher”. Their clothes are oddly retro and new at the same time-love the colors.
The young lady in yellow pants nailed it. Beautiful movements
There's choreography, then there's choreography; there's soul, then there's soul; there's groove, then there's groove ; there's dance then there's this. There's wow, then there's WOW! Spellbound by this clip
China in the house representing!!!
Most unusual view of healthy young Asian dancers grooving with body discipline. Clean look. BEAUTIFUL 😊
I am not a dancer. But I am astonished. This is gold.
