I find irony in the song in the background. Even if they never see each other again, they’re acknowledging to each other, I love you, always and forever.
Considering Becca always knew she was going back to NY, and Cam was already working toward moving to Vancouver, I thought it realistic that they would part. Cam has her people in Vancouver whom she never knew and Becca didn’t really ask Cam to come to NY with her. I think for Becca, Cam is part of her past to be resolved and the case just foregrounds the real divide between them despite their obvious love for one another. It is hard, but I feel a more true ending. That Becca identifies more closely with the perpetrators of the crime than with the victims (I include the family of Reena as victims) is indicative of a certain white privilege that Cam can never possess. It puts them at odds, even though they feel so tenderly towards each other. Love hurts.
My heart is still hurting. The intimacy is unbelievable. I feel they have really brought all of their own pain & tapped into everyone else's who was affected by what happened to reena to their characters. When she takes her hand 😭😭😭😭
Such a great couple. Would´ve loved to see more of them. It was a real ending. Although, I have hope that they eventually find each other again. They seem happy together.
So in my opinion they are trying to move on and even if they find peace in other things they will never be able to get Victoria and each other out of their system but they lied to allow the other to achieve their goals and desires and both knew that, that’s the most beautiful and selfless act of love. Damn the choice of the song, it was perfect!
I don't think they lied. I think they totally detached with love & now wasn't the time. If they are meant to be together they will find each other but it's fiction so that won't happen.
Maybe parting ways was ok, but I always feel let down when such couples split up because until recently they were always split up in tv-movies, often in tragic ways. There is a lot to be made up for in positive outcomes. At least they could have promised to stay in touch.

Gutted they went their separate ways. Such a powerful episode.
I'm actually heartbroken they are being led down other path's. But I thought the song that was played was very poignant.
@@whoami1654 Agreed. I understand how it maybe was healthier for them to go separate ways, but part of me hoped Cam would go to NY with Rebecca.
