My asthma only flares up during the spring . The rest of the year im totally fine as long as i dont push myself to far with physical activities

I was just diagnosed with Asthma from private Pulmonologist. The FEV1 test was at 54%. Can I file a claim even though I have been out of service for 30 years? I spent 2 tours in the Navy in Desert Storm/Persian Gulf. 1990-1993. We spent months in the Persian Gulf, Gulf of Aden, Red Sea, etc... Is this still presumptive or did you have to file before 2021? I'm confused.

How is a basic PFT diagnostically relevant for a reactive airway condition? I could see incorporating an exercise test or methacholine challenge.
