I preyed; put in the man's head, a bigger tent is required now. That is accomplished. God bless you all 💕. I like how you saw those logs. Seeing your family busy in the task, made my day.
Lol you should’ve seen me put it up the first time, I looked like a toddler trying to build a computer 😂 Now I could probably do it with my eyes closed.. man it’s been a great tent though and thank you! Cheers 🍻
Very beautiful panorama from the campsite. You were right about the wind, I noticed that it was blowing quite hard. I also saw the usefulness of stoves. You have a beautiful family! I greet them and hug them dearly! 🤗
It was a great time for the whole family.😊 I’m so proud of how everyone did in the wind and cold! Thank you for the positive words and we hope you have an amazing weekend. Take care buddy.
It would help in this case to take a Desktop Fan and put it on the Cool air intake. You could power the fan off a USB charger. I have seen people do it. A simple solar charger would have run the intake fan for minimum of 6 hours. It might also help to make to smaller Convection type heater with two separate pipe systems . One for running off the air from your wood burning which exhausts a height above the tent and the other pulling in cold air closer to ground on another inlet and pushing out convectively heated air into the tent or log cabin. One can make such a heater out of an old Ammo can.
Thanks for the suggestion, I haven’t heard of this before but it sounds great! This was our first season really getting into hot tent camping, but man we love it! Seems like you have good experience, as seasons change I may reach out to discuss this further if you don’t mind? Thanks again buddy and take care!
You do all the work setting that thing up and then they come and reap the benefits. 😄 And jeez, that's some wind. Glad your Old Lady didn't get charred. I would disagree however: that is definitely hot tent camping. There's a stove and a tent involved. That's enough! And thanks for the shout out. No worries on my last name, I'm already all over the Interwebs. Though likely I'll never be as famous as the the noodle on Austin's leg.
Possibly the most famous noodle known to man lol. You know your right we were almost double hot tent camping and had that stove pipe got the wife, I may have been single and hot tent camping.. Thanks Seth.
Outstanding Buddy. Out with the whole Family. That is awesome. Ditch the Pomoly and get you a good tent. I assume you were in South Carolina around Lineville area. That view up there is cool. Hotdogs and Ramen in the mountains with the family. That's life worth living right there. That Boogie sure is learning to use that axe. Heck I'll hire her to come split my wood. Tell everyone hi and make sure and not poke your pee wee with a thorn or something LOL... Your Oregon/Tennessee friend.
Well thank you and the thorn was no joke lol! I’ll pass the word along to the family. We were in the Linville area and this has to be one of our favorite sites! A bit windy but worth it 😁 cheers buddy, thanks for keeping in touch!
What i have done is to get myself a Very small Solar panel - flexible and a Solar Generator. Okay What I have seen is a person reuse a old Ammo Can two cut two holes one for Entry and one for Exit and seal the ingress and egress and connect 2 inch pipe. One for hot air and another for cold air. Line the inside with insulating stone - soapstone. The second circuit uses a heat source - small propane burner , or very small wood burner will be better. Add two vertical pipes - the two circuits are hermetically isolated , one vertical pipe which can carry off the Carbon Monoxide through a hole in the tent roof. Its inlet is a pipe inside the tent. The horizontal pipe system is to provide the warmed up air for your tent. Usually you might get a temp increase of 45-50C by using a small convection heater like I described. With the Ammo can which has a glass front and tape for small wood stoves the Cardon monoxide is blown off at say 9 feet or 10 feet above so that it can never enter your tent. Its still safest to have a Monoxide detector in your tent.
Hey Bobby! Hello from Kentucky! Love your family campouts, that's true American family! Was What axe do you have in this video? I'm searching for a good one at a modest price.
Well thanks Mike that’s the Council Tools Wood-craft pack axe 24” and we’ve really enjoyed it so far. Seems pretty decent quality and I think it was around 150$ so not to bad. Take care in Kentucky now 🍻
How do you feel about Tennessee making camping on public land a felony charge this year? Do you think it will spread to other states. As someone who camps I'd be interested in your opinion. Do you think Tennessee making it a felony aligns with this countries motto of being the land of the free?
Another awesome video! That's such a sick setup you have going on! That camping spot looks epic too! You'll have to check out my truck camper I built on my channel that me and my pup travel out of! Keep up with the awesome content!
Haha yeah my wife ended up bringing a lighter when she came. Ferro rod is fun when you just have to make one fire but I had to lite that stove multiple times..

Thank you Jorge, it has really been a great tent. Can't wait to use it again this winter. Take care buddy!
I’ve never seen a large tent go up that easily! For a family camping trip you can’t beat that.
Lol you should’ve seen me put it up the first time, I looked like a toddler trying to build a computer 😂 Now I could probably do it with my eyes closed..
man it’s been a great tent though and thank you! Cheers 🍻
Great way to spend a weekend!

That’s very interesting. Do you know if anyone has done a “how to video” on this? That would be interesting to see constructed.
👍🏻
Thanks James! 🍻🏕

Yes sir, and we ain’t broke it yet lol.

WHAT STATE ARE YOU IN????
We do most of our camping in the N.C. Mountains. We love the blue ridge. Take care 😊
Where is this place
This is in the North Carolina Mountains. Pisgah National forest. Take care buddy.

Sounds like you brought the WRONG family camping.
Should I bring your family instead?
Can anyone camp here?
Yes, this is public land.
you can afford those expensive camping gears but you cannot buy even a disposable lighter to light your fire?
Haha yeah my wife ended up bringing a lighter when she came. Ferro rod is fun when you just have to make one fire but I had to lite that stove multiple times..
