The final showing of the BBC Two clock in the early hours of 19th November 2001, courtesy of BBC Wales. A new look began at 7am and a clock hasn't been used on the channel since.

I am sure I read somewhere that BBC2 last used a clock at closedown around 1998, but am not sure on that though. I know that BBC1's last clock showing was at the end of March 2002, when of course alas the Balloon idents ended; and then came the awful (in comparison) 'dancers' or whatever they were meant to be, but with no clock though. I am sure I read too that the BBC at the time had considered a clock with the 'dancers' but decided oddly not too. Also I think the other channels-ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and so on-by then had also dropped having a clock too, and as you say a clock has not been seen since. Oh well!!

TV+Radio Bits used to have a clip of the BBC Two clock in 2001, when Tim Henman's semi-final forced the news onto BBC Two that day. They described it as the penultimate showing on the channel. Don't know why the last showing was though

@EggNoodles Thanks. I'm guessing the Channel 4 clock was last used on 10th October 1996, the day before they changed the original idents.

The last time Channel 4 had a clock was I think on the 23rd May 2017, where they used one to introduce a special edition of Channel 4 News (the special edition was presented from Manchester as it was the day after the terrorist attack at Manchester Arena)
