I just found out my wife committed adultery 10 years ago when we were unbelievers and before we had children. She has kept this a secret until now. I am trying so hard to forgive her. She is deeply shameful and repentant. She has been a faithful wife and wonderful mother for the last 10 years. Please help with advice and prayer. Do I divorce or endure the pain?

Before Jesus came, those who were living under the Torah, they were required to give 10% of their income, whatever it was, to the Temple, if I remember correctly; Psalm 24:1 says, “The earth and everything in it, the world and its inhabitants, belong to the Lord;” Everything is the Lord's, and it is on loan to us. We give it back to Him, when we use it properly woth thanksgiving, when we hand it over to the hungry beggar, when we give drink to the the thirsty, and so on. Money itself is not evil, neither are possessions, but the love of money, of things, an Idol, is the root of many evils.

Lord Jesus my Heavenly father have mercy on me and my family. My father passed away, and we buried him 5th Feb 24 at 79yrs old died from cancer due to cigarette smoking. He stopped 7yrs ago, but was smoking since 15 or 16yrs old. He also received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour before he crossed over. We were praying for his salvation. Thankyou Lord for answered prayer 🙏 ❤
Thank you Father Spyridon, you inspired me to quit smoking Marijuana. I began giving it up 8 months ago and have been sober for 4 months and never going back. Glory be to God.

I thought that if I totally followed the teachings of the Church I'd lose my individuality. I was wrongly connecting my sin to myself, after returning to prayer and learning more about the saints I discovered that God gives us all our own path to salvation and we have to trust in Christ and reject the world. We become more our true selves by developing our relationship with God and becoming more Christ-like through the unique path God lays before us. I think this is a key element in the orthodox teaching of Illumination. Secondly, I was struggling with the idea of salvation itself. Who am I, a weak sinner, able to become a saint, achieve Theosis, and be accepted into the kingdom of God? Again, prayer and learning more about the saints helped greatly. The saints were tempted as we are but achieved glory through their faith and discipline. Also, scripture helps too. Matthew 19:26, "Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Beliving we are unredeemable places limits on God and is an excercise on pridde. Bear your cross with humility and anything is possible. I trust you and everyone can be saved through God's mercy.
False love used to be one of my biggest problems. The sacrificial kind of love in accordance with the teachings of Christ is truly the best. With constant prayer we can lessen our false love and increase our true love in Christ.

This is such a hard message to hear. I find myself frequently bothered to-the-core and hating all the evil around me. I know love is the only way but, still, hearing it is almost heartbreaking. The consequences of not loving my enemies is literally death and separation from God. Painful to hear and accept over and over again.
I struggle with this as well. When I’m listening or seeing evil spewing from someone I feel that hate well up and then the Lord whispers to me, “Are you loving him or her like I loved my enemies?” Then I feel such sorrow. Lord, have mercy on me a sinner!” 😢 🙏🏼
Yes, i understand. We keep our love for the Lord and for truth, and we even grieve when we see Him wrongly spoken about. Then we turn as best we can and fear the danger that those doing or speaking evil are in. I am slowly learning ..
You have to heal your heart let go of the hate, it is never the way. The sins and wrongdoings of others is not your weight to hold, hatred makes it yours. Good luck sister

Für Ihr Auskommen gehen die meisten einer Arbeit nach und können nur nach Feierabend den Aufgaben eines Priesters nachkommen. Der Steuerzahler kommt nur für Protestantische Pfarrer und Römische Priester auf. Darunter leidet die Intensivität der Betreuung der Gemeinde. Trotzdem kenne ich keinen Orthodoxen Priester der nicht ein Herzens guter Mensch ist und alles versucht was er kann und ein offenes Ohr hat. Mit meinem Diakon des Vertrauens schreibe ich auch ab und zu über WhatsApp 😅. Die Orthodoxen Medien hier auf UA-cam auf Deutsch haben, aber auch mehr und mehr Inhalte. Ich wünsche dir alles Gute.

Now I practice the golden rule and how Jesus would want me to be. So God has been doing work in me and continues to. Some days my I patience gets the better of me but I’m a work in progress

Too many people are missing heaven and ending up in the fires of Hell! Out of the 150,000 people that die every day on this planet, most of them open their eyes from a burning Hell after their last breath and it is not funny nor is it a joke ! Pray constantly for these souls that are in desperate need of salvation that God will send laborers across their paths! Jesus is Lord!
Before I even listen...I wanted to say how grateful I am to see you are alive . It happened to me that I had a brush with death, my situation was bad & many were unkind, watching me with appendicitis but did not call the ambulance. I preyed intensely to G-d, accepted it was his will & I was still fully in love w G-d! even through incredible pain, alone. That's when something happened... & I was saved physically when I was certain it was my end. I will only say that G-d & his angels are real. I take great pleasure in seeing you received the emergency help -DR.s can overlook things and happy this was not your case. You are meant to preach G-ds love & words I see so much beauty in that Thank you for being here, teaching about G-d I appreciate you greatly & G-d- of course! 4 years ago I had a profound spiritual experience with Jesus Christ. I was born again that day and I thought I knew what love was, but the immediate feelings I had I still struggle to explain. He was definitely pure love, forgiveness, forgiveness. It was a feeling of unconditional love and compassion. It brought me to tears and I'm not one who cries.

4 years ago I had a profound spiritual experience with Jesus Christ. I was born again that day and I thought I knew what love was, but the immediate feelings I had I still struggle to explain. He was definitely pure love, forgiveness, forgiveness. It was a feeling of unconditional love and compassion. It brought me to tears and I'm not one who cries.
