VW Golf 5 airbag no communication problem 00532 fault

later I realized that the mistake was caused earlier by the B + exceeded. bad ground lighted airbag light, could not load ecu. after the ECU was screwed on the car, the airbag disappeared and no more error was reported.

The ecu showed no communication in this video because it was not bolted down.

Was this a bad ground ?

Apparently the airbag module uses all three nuts as ground contact points, if one isn't grounding properly you can lose communication with the module. The modules can also suffer from water damage so I guess check if ground is ok then if it's still not working get a replacement with the same coding (numbers on label match with old unit) so it's a straight swap.
Remember to always disconnect the battery and wait 30 mins before messing with anything to do with airbags.
