Hi. The concept change is actually part of the lore. They are in the present time and have forgotten their past lives and Louis is the only one that still remembers and basically he is gonna have to help the other members remember the past. I hope that helps some. I can better explain if you want.
I was wondering why it felt so long since I heard anything about Kingdom..since no one I watch really collects/unboxes Kingdom. I saw this pop up on sale sites and didn't realize this was infact a Kingdom album.. I agree honestly, the change is too drastic from such a consistently beautiful concept that ties to their name, to...something...generic.. and I am someone who loves casual-type concepts but this was definitely not it for their switch up, whatever the reason may be, personally. I also don't love that it seems like the album size is even too big compared to the rest of their discography so it really would sit awkward to previous albums..it's what I super disliked about Dreamcatcher's album change too.
Same. I'm disappointed too. I love them and their music, still do. And I hate that they're (the company) are using the lore as an excuse for the rebrand when let's be real; Capitalism. Even if the lore is about future did they have to change their name or make them like every other group. It's an excuse. Again, adore group and music but HATE the change and sadly I have stopped collecting their physical albums now because they just don't apeal to me to want to own them 😔
