This is a quick and insightful video, thank you for putting it together. I lean toward theistic evolution as the "best" explanation, for lack of a better term, for those seeking to reconcile the two seemingly opposed worldviews. I was raised being taught that evolution is false because "there are still monkeys". It wasn't until after I graduated high school and even college that I learned what the theory of evolution actually says. I worry that the way many Christians shy away from or even outright forbid studying human evolution just drives many away from considering any kind of faith. In other words, they see us as ignorant and backwards. Who wants to join that crowd? But I am also aware of that fact that the theory of evolution can effectively be traced back to the likes of Darwin, Wallace, and Huxley, so it is a fairly recent development. However, the uncanny similarities in appearances among human beings and apes is plain as day and demands a discussion. I personally think that the answer lies somewhere in the middle. I don't necessarily read Genesis as a literal account, but I'm also aware that scientific theories, while rather firm as a result of evidence and testing, could potentially shift in light of new evidence.
Nice vid dude. There are people who try to put evolution and creation together but they don't go together thiers to many errors. Some might disagree with me and that's ok. But scripture Is very clear Adam and Eve are literal people and all humans originate from them. Mankind's sinful nature comes from Adam and that nature is passed down generations after another. Those who say Adam is not literal but symbolic than I wonder when does scriptures start talking about literal people is it when Enoch is mentioned? Or is it when Noah is born or Abraham or Moses when does the scripture start talking about literal characters? Some people will say God didn't literally create creation in 7 days. Maybe they are right cause scripture does say a thousand years is like 1 day to God. While that could be possible but I wouldn't want people to think God can't create everything in a week. For God created Man and animals from the ground according to scripture. In Exodus God made Moses staff into a snake instantly . In Exodus 8:16 God turn the dust of the ground into nats. From non living thing to a living thing instantly. God sepeperated the red sea in 1 night. God stopped the sun and moon for Joshua in his armies for a full day. God open the donkey to speak human language. I'm saying this to anyone who reads this, God don't need process to get something done if he wants it done than it will be done.
I agree with everything you have said. Good Information!
