Really great green color you mixed up! Goes wonderfully with the stain and gold (and the fatter line was a great choice as well) I think leaving off the small lower drawer knobs was a good choice as well. Those two drawers already have what they need and the little drawer on the top gives that top drawer a balance with the whole front. Well done!
Thanks so much, im a sucker for a good green color! 🤣 glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching!
This is absolutely stunning! I love the colour and that stain detail with the thin gold line just elevates it to another level 🤩👏😍
Thank you so much! 😊 The gold line definitely pulled it all together!
no matter what you’re making it always turns out amazing❤ can’t wait to see more videos!
That turned out so nice! I absolutely love it!! ❤️❤️
Thanks so much! I had a lot of fun working on this piece! 😊
Absolutely stunning!! One thing with the Palmetto color - give it another chance, but first, paint a solid black coat, then paint the Palmetto. It completely changes the look of the color, and I have received so many compliments on the pieces that I do this on. Don't just add black to the green, it has to be layered. But I do love the green you picked for this one!
ill give it another try, this technique sounds interesting. Thanks for the tip, im excited to see how it turns out. thanks for watching! 😊
I'm not fond of the green shade, but you did a great job on that. I do like the faux drawers being filled in. It would be too busy otherwise.
Turned out beautiful. Funny thing is, I lived through the 80's and I know some appliances were about that color. The 60's were awful, lol, coppertone, avocado green and harvest gold all with brown airbrushed edges. I was surprised you decided to repaint most of it. I liked the veneer underneath. But that's okay.
The veneer was so badly damaged it was hard to save it all. I’m over the moon with how it came out, I love a vintage look. 😉
Your idea to match the wood is good, BUT, using a dowel is not the best way. A dowel is going to make end grain as your patch. End grain stains much differently than long grain. I would invest in some plug cutters and small pieces of oak.
For my first time I’m pretty happy with how the plugs worked however, I agree, I will try something different in the future. Thanks for the tip! 😊
Работа хорошая но я отрицательно отношусь к покраске мебели . Для меня мебель должна быть натуральная, а не покрытая краской.
That's why I like to do two-toned looks. I enjoy natural wood but I love a pop of color. Thanks for watching! 😊
No, I don't enjoy the cleaning.
Very nice. Great job. Beautiful color you mixed up. I would put knobs in the middle
Thank you! 😊
