Oh my god! The go karts are on the actual roads! That's amazing. It's so amazing how a place could be safe enough to do such a thing. I guess go-karts might be viewed in a similar way to bikes, which is why you'd be allowed to do that. Japan looked gorgeous in the summer. I would love to visit it.

Ahh that sucks about the guy who was spitting. Mean man. I know that feeling though. We visited Italy in April and I had a few sour experiences that left a bit of a shadow on the trip. In Florence a clerk at a train station convenience store refused to help me until she had helped locals first (like literally let them pass me in line), the manager there slapped my phone out of my hand when I tried to take a photo of him (he refused to help me lodge a complaint), and than in Rome a waitress told me to eat with my hands...I was eating rabbit in a fancyish restaurant...lol. Mehh, people :/ Oh wells, maybe I'll go back one day and it wont be that way. Japan is definitely a bucket list destination for me! I hope the rest of your Japan trip was fun and pleasant! :)

stubs85 You need an international drivers license in order to do the go karts. You have to be at least 18 to get an international drivers license.
