Mashallah brother in Islam thank you for this khutbah and may allah swt be pleased with you and increase your knowledge so you can continue benefiting the people
Well explained! May Allah SWT reward you with goodness. Btw, NM Brother, it may be a little bit off-topic, but do you also perform Tarawih prayers in congregation there in the masjid with those who can participate?
Aameen! No, we don't have Tarawih prayers there. I was hoping to do it at least once there though before it's too late cause next week we'll have our last Jumu'ah prayer there and after that we'll lose that place cause the brother who had his business there and was providing the place for us is making hijrah insha'Allah. After that we'll try to rent a place just on a hourly basis once a week for the Jumu'ah prayers insha'Allah.
@@nordicmuslim Ohw sorry to hear that! (of course not about his decision of making hijrah..wow! respect! it's just another level!) But as you already know, Allah SWT closes one door with His Hikma and opens two doors with His Rahma. May Allah SWT bless you all for your efforts in this blessed month (ameen!). Insha Allah soon close in the future, you NM brother will be announcing that "we are now running out of space and desperately need a bigger space to be able to accommodate our growing needs as a community and this is where 'New Islamic Center project' comes in which will provide adequate space for our needs for the foreseeable future." The key here is in the Surah (47:7) :)
@@nazlinur Yes, absolutely with Allah's help everything is possible. We just gotta put in our part as well and take action with brothers in our tiny community and the Estonia's Muslim community as a whole and then just put our trust in Allah and He will make a way. I appreciate such a supportive comment!
Assalamualaikum brother, Ramadan Kareem. Can you please clarify the point regarding the timing of the intention? I am a little confused about the part where we have to make the intention at night, but then it also says that it should be done before dawn. So my question is that, say if we went to bed after iftar without making an intention for the next day, but woke up for example at 2 AM and made the intention then, would that still count? Because technically it was not at night, but was predawn? JazakAllah kheir in advance
Wa alaikum assalam wa rahmatullah and Ramadan Kareem to you as well! There's no contradiction between doing the intention at night and before dawn because before dawn is also night time. So as long as you have the intention before fajr time it counts. Let's say fajr is at 4 am and you make the intention at 3:57 am it's as valid as making the intention when going to bed 11 pm at night. As for your example when you go to bed after Iftar then it's safer to have the intention then already and just you intending to wake up for suhoor is enough for intention insha'Allah. This way in case the sleep overcomes you and you only wake up after fajr then your fasting is still valid because you had the intention. I hope this clears it up. May Allah bless you!
@@nordicmuslim JazakAllah kheir for taking the time to answer this in detail, this is exactly what I was looking for and has cleared up my confusion. Also, just FYI, I started reading the Quran one page per day after you started the challenge on UA-cam, may Allah reward you for it. Ameen
