It’s how the brain works when you are learning a new language it’s very common during the first stage of language acquisition 😘 this is not “Spanglish” Spanglish is using words, expressions or slangs from another country and adapt it to your own language 🤷🏽♀️
Exactly and that's how spanglish is born. That's how us puertorricans ended up adapting the word parking and now always use palquin...lol or Hamburger and now is called in spanglish jambelguel, etc. The same in Japan with the words Cake and there in "Japanglish" is keekii, Milk is Miirku, and so on with other few modified anglisisms that are now part of their language. Interesting.

You will be surprised a lot of Hispanic singers visit famous restaurants in Beverly Hills, Malibu and new port. And they take the time to take pictures.
All Hispanic/Latinos are raised to be this way as kids, to always be humble, stern, respectful, well mannered, and always grateful for the smallest of things. Not that other races dont as well, but in America atleast white’s and blacks dont seem to value or continue pushing their ethics/morals. When you go to smaller towns and communities made up of all whites or all blacks you start to feel the same energy that u feel in the latino community. well mannered, humble and grateful people. But when you go to big city hubs like NY, MIA, LA, etc. Alot of the whites and black come off rude, ungrateful, entitled, no manners, etc. While the majority of Latino’s maintain the way we were raised whether rich or poor, in a big city or a farm, doesnt matter.

Bad Bunny feels like the only mega famous Puertorican celeb that truly represents the every day Puertorican. He was just a bag boy at a grocery store from my neighboring town, Vega Baja, and even though he’s gotten so huge he’s stayed incredibly humble. Also, the multiple times he’s spoken out for female representation and against female domestic abuse shows he truly cares. Another thing, his support for the lgbtq+ community has opened up the usually sexist machista urban genre for more people. Truly a hero. His last two concerts in PR were amazing 🔥

I love how he is not scared at all to speak english and words that he doesn't know he just say it in spanish. That is so awesome, a great example for us spanish speakers that know a little bit of English and because of the judgment of third parties we are afraid to speak the language. Vamos arribaaa le metemos al spanglish and we can communicate so well.

That’s because he’s not fluent in english and didn’t grow up agreeing with the cultural definition of America/American. “Estadounidenses” it’s a valid word in spanish, in english the direct translation to unitedstatesian is gibberish. For e.g people usually call citizens from the United Mexican States, Mexicans and the country Mexico for short. Why would the USA wouldn’t do the same? At the end of the day it’s semantics really.

United States of America is probably not a very good name, and American = people from the United States of America is wrong.
