Great show of what the Microfreak can do in terms of useability. Most Microfreak jams on UA-cam are just a collection of weird noises. I had my doubts that device was usefull for anything but noodling. Once again you've proven the music is in the musician, not the instrument.
Beautiful piece! It reminds me very much of the early music from Eve Online. You've brought back some wonderful memories from that time of my life and that online community. Thank you!
I came here for some proper cutoff knob action and stayed for the soothing soundscape. I guess I will have to cut back on some overdrive when doing my synth sessions my stuff always sound a bit more "harsh" :PP
Great to hear some good sounds from this synth. I was starting to wonder if it could, obviously I have been listening to the wrong channels. Well done!
Old Swede !!! What a shame, I thought you came from Germany. I wanted to visit you for a little jam session from you. You are a wonderful artist. I am celebrating you right.
Big thanks! Yes, the 720 is a nice simple stereo looper with just one track. But it does the job for simple pieces, e.g if you dont need to remove layers/loops, cheers
If you like you can try the cs80 like patch I did with this ...you find it on my channel (don't want to share links here) or just Google "Microfreak" + "cs80"
@@BURG ...and a warning :) ...this thing is like a drug you get addicted to the Microfreak ...at the moment you realised how the sequencer and the matrix are working...the Microfreak has its own character...something is living in there...;)
Maybe a tip: try to put your hand on a Korg NTS-1 and couple it to the microFreak. It's a winner even before updating to firmware 3.0 (which I highly recommend too, with its MakeNoise labelled new patches and now up to 384 memory slots (dearly needed, indeed!)
Thanks a lot! For the volcas its Both really, a little bit depending on the use case. Today i have the vBass sequenced by the AKAI force, but i do also at times only use the internal sequencer. Cheers!

Thanks!! :) Yes the microfreak really seems to be a great little machine, i think this one will be a keeper. cheers !
Well done! Sounds like something that might have been released on Fax in the 90s (my favorite era). Love this oddball synth.

Fantastic!! Thanks for the demonstration!
sounds great, love the Microfreak, my fave synth I own, I love pairing it with the ‘cave’ reverb on the zoom ms70 :)
thanks!! :) yes it seems to be a great little machine! pairing with ms70 is def on the map! :D :D cheers !
Totally agree with using the MS70 and Microfreak together. Standard set up for me now.
Very nice; was looking for how MF and EH720 would work together; found it; thanks.
I came here for some proper cutoff knob action and stayed for the soothing soundscape. I guess I will have to cut back on some overdrive when doing my synth sessions my stuff always sound a bit more "harsh" :PP

Well, you are certainly saving electricity with this sparse rig, but still creating beautiful sounds. Thank you.
cheers and thanks!
Elegant sir.
A really nice sounding track might have to take a look at the 720. Excellent work.
Big thanks! Yes, the 720 is a nice simple stereo looper with just one track. But it does the job for simple pieces, e.g if you dont need to remove layers/loops, cheers

Thanks a lot mate for the kind words!

Hrm, that is an interesting idea! Thanks for the tip! cheers :)
Another synth i am having trouble convincing myself that I don't need!
Cool. As always. ;-)
thanks a lot!!
Великолепно! Класс 👍🔥✌️
Really enjoying your live sounds. When you use the Volca Bass/keys are you using internal or external sequencer. Thanks
Thanks a lot! For the volcas its Both really, a little bit depending on the use case. Today i have the vBass sequenced by the AKAI force, but i do also at times only use the internal sequencer. Cheers!
🖤
And of course this synth too ended up on 'Bad Gear' 🙄😆
It’s like a brain massage.
This is Alessandro Cortini's take on Franco Battiato's Areknames.
Hey Burg woher kommst du eigentlich? Where are you from?
Hi David, i am born and raised in Sweden! :) cheers !
Hello Ollilaboratories ! How about this version ? Depeche Mode - Stripped ( Tranquilo Cover- Mix )
