@@MysticPSD Honestly, I don't use safety goggles, but if I were to recommend, I'd say the normal types since laser 303s aren't very powerful burning lasers.
@@Shonade_Malik From what I've heard, the laser 303 (532nm green) emit infrared as well since they lack a proper IR filter. The IR output can be much higher than the visible one, and thus it’s much more dangerous. It might even penetrate protective goggles designed to protect from green lasers. (letting in IR light) I might recommend you to wear safety goggles as those lasers will probably cause major damage to your eyes overtime. (Even if you didn't point it straight into your eyes)
@@MysticPSD Any DPSS lasers have IR being emitted. Either the IR filter is not put in properly, or like you said, it's not the best quality. The best way to test this is to put a green laser in the freezer, then take it out after a while. You won't be able to see any light coming out, because there's only infrared radiation. Also, you're kind of right, I should wear them, but the thing is that the IR being emitted is not very powerful, and won't secretly destroy your eyesight over time.
Hi nice video, I have a doubt. How the laser light beam joins in a single point so that it fires objects even at a greater distance, in the sense that when you point the beam in the sky you do not see the beam enlarged but concentrated. Thanks for your help.
Hey Tom! Thanks for watching and that's a great question. The beam does spread at greater distances. It really doesn't focus down very much. While it can damage vision at a distance, I haven't had much success igniting matches past 1 1/4 meters. I hope this answers your question and thanks again for watching 😃
I recently got something the same powerful I got 2 16340 battery but there 340mh fully charged I doubt they last 5 minutes, in the dark I can point it at bush a mile away and with just my eyes see the reflection off the bush, that's an intense beam
I trying using a thermal coupler on a multimeter hit 600 degrees, I'm not sure if that's an accurate way of measuring the temperature or not but that's the reading I got
I tried turning the focus for bit wider and try to use it to burn off a tattoo, my skin would start burning not to the point of any damage but starting to get painful, but it did nothing to remove the tattoo, not the right kind of laser light for tattoos

Hi, I have been star watching for a couple of months. I have seen this at the viewing group, and it was wonderful to point in the sky. But I wasn't sure about the seller. I was legitimately considering a lighter version of this as a daily carry, particularly in case of an active shooter situation. Definitely look at your laws before considering this as home protection. Things like booby traps are illegal. Certain things used in defense will add a lot of headache at the very least. And also consider that this is not a great thing to have around ready to fire up at a moments notice. We get lax and people get curious. You may never have guests or may never let people into your room, but five years down the road you may. You forgot about it. Someone sees what looks like a flashlight and clicks it on unsuspectingly.

I’m really just trying to find a laser that can burn stuff, it doesn’t need to be crazy. Or like lighting newspaper on fire to start a fire in a fireplace. But one that isn’t as dangerous as this one. What do you recommend?
Hello rabbi, I recommend the US NAVY photon blaster, it can explode engines going 1000+ mph with hypersonic photons, it may light more than a newspaper, so make sure to clear a 190000X100000 area to make sure nothing gets on fire other than the paper

It's absolutely not purple - 405-450nm are violet. Purple is 380nm And as a *fun fact* - it's considered an original blue laser - that's the first blue laser wavelength made and that's exact color you have in Blu-Ray drives. "True" blue is around 460-473nm (very expensive and rare laser diodes)

As a 13 year old, the most powerful laser I have is a laser 303 (60 - 90 MW). It only burns things when I focus it to the maximum.
do you wear laser safety glasses? if you do, which ones do you recommend?
@@Shonade_Malik Ok, thanks for the information

I would say yes. The laser is diffused but still capable of damaging an eye.
The link didn’t work, what is the exact link or product name? Thanks, great video

I have the 5000mw, but does anyone know what brand/name it has?
The only thing the box says is "Laser Torch"
Hi, I have been star watching for a couple of months. I have seen this at the viewing group, and it was wonderful to point in the sky. But I wasn't sure about the seller. I keep seeing advertised on a game on my phone for $19.99 to $36 give or take, depending on the add-ons. But I was worried that it was fake at that price. I see on other sites for $500 or more. But you purchased it on WISH or not? Sorry, I'm disabled and poor. I hate wasting money. Thanks again for your help and video
Hey Johnny! Thanks for watching. My father was an astronomer. The good news is that for star gazing, you don't need to pay a lot for a laser. Lasers in amateur astronomy are used to basically point at objects. Here is a laser that will be more than adequate: amzn.to/3OYl5ZU. Enjoy the stars!

Can it burn anything and will a person get hurt or killed or worse if they put their arm or hand on the laser
Yes. It is dangerous and will easily burn skin.
And loose an arm or leg?
No, it's not light saber strength.
Will it kill someone from short or far distance

@@haydenlockhart1588 And a threat having no sight is not a defensive advantage? Lol
Okay where do you look for good laser glasses 🤓?
Amazon has a great selection. Check these out: amzn.to/3YHxCWP
On eBay many people sell 990 miles laser,990 miles is 1500km , really can reach that far? please answer guys-:-:
Technically yes but the diffusion would be so great that any light from the laser that at that distance would be invisible to the naked eye.

6+ od rating works well too.

I bought a laser that seems exactly like this off wish but is green. It doesn't burn my skin at all or set anything on fire, did I get a different laser or does the colour make a big difference?
The wattage is the factor that makes the most difference. Unfortunately from Wish, one is unlikely to get a true wattage rating.

How do you objectively measure laser output at home?

I'd really like to know how these batteries are to be charged
A lot of these layers have a governor's on but most are easy to hack to get the lasers full potential
The most dangerous products on wish would be the bullet proof vest with foam instead of Kevlar or crack pipes
😂 hell yea!

Can I put this on my AR? Asking for me 😄
It's pretty thick. You could possibly mount this but it would be a challenge and I'm sure the recoil would break it.

How long will it stay on with a full charge
So when you say it's powerful, does that translate to it going further distance? I'm looking for a laser that can go from 1 mountain peak to another... is this possible? Or pipe dream?
That is a great question. It depends on the distance between peaks. With a less powerful laser, I cast a beam over 2 miles.
@@Murdic3k oh crap, ok thank you👍. They look like they would travel for several miles, was hoping like 25mi lol

Technically, far into space.
How much was it
I can’t really find which one it is cause there’s two that look the same
I’m really just trying to find a laser that can burn stuff, it doesn’t need to be crazy. Or like lighting newspaper on fire to start a fire in a fireplace. But one that isn’t as dangerous as this one. What do you recommend?
Hello rabbi, I recommend the US NAVY photon blaster, it can explode engines going 1000+ mph with hypersonic photons, it may light more than a newspaper, so make sure to clear a 190000X100000 area to make sure nothing gets on fire other than the paper

what was the price of this one on Wish? There are a bunch of models on there so I want to get the right one.
Great question. It fluctuates. When I bought it, I paid around $47. I believe this product actually violates some trade agreement related to high powered lasers (the reason the wattage is stated as under 1000 mw). Buyer beware! Quality control is horrible. Fortunately, most of the issues are with the rechargeable batteries. I have edited the description to give the latest working link. There is a $5 discount code in the description too.

That's a great question. Find it for as cheap as you can. The quality control from wish purchases is usually horrible. When it comes to buying items off of Wish, I think of it like gambling. Only spend what you wouldn't mind losing.
First off I love the video did a good job I actually bought this laser pointer about 9 months ago off of wish best thing that I bought off a wish that actually was what it's supposed to be when I got it. Very high powered very good and again keep it locked up like you said I had actually was carrying it with me in my pocket and accidentally turned it on when I came into the house and smell something burning and was looking around and all says she smoke come up like three four inches away from my face and look what the hell I'm on fire LOL right through my jacket pocket and my shirt so again don't carry it in your pocket.
