About this fund: Suncoast Disaster Recovery Fund is channeled through the Community Foundation of Sarasota County. Funds collected will be distributed to recovery efforts in Charlotte, DeSoto, Sarasota, and Manatee counties affected by Hurricane Ian. They will be in close communication with nonprofits to ensure the funds go to recovery efforts for our neighbors most affected by Ian. Thoughtful determining criteria for distribution will be by listening to nonprofit partners and coordinating with local government.
