I am working very hard on preventing food aggression between my dogs. This can be achieved through proper canine leadership that your pack requires and through the dogs understanding pack hierarchy and where they fit in the pack. I am always of the mindset of preventing problems before they occur. That is a huge philosophy of mine when it comes to training my dogs. It is far easier to do this versus trying to fix a problem that you or the dogs created. So far I feel I have things moving in the right direction and I will continue to work on it with both of my Cane Corsos. For help training your dog, any breed and any age check out the links below. WHAT A SCENE at 3:11 This is so good. Bruce IS the big brother and he knows it. This is a great confirmation how you both teached your dogs especially BW.
This vlog you are creating on JJ might just become one of the most thorough and complete "how to for dog ownership", told in a simple non-technical narrative, and with excellent visuals to follow along. Many current and future dog owners are going to be very grateful for your work.
Jason, I know I've said this before, but I'm really impressed with the relationship you've fostered between BW and JJ. You've had to put in a tremendous amount of work and patience. Your efforts obviously pay off. Good job dude.
I love watching someone training dogs, that understands dogs. Too many people forget that they are dogs and not humans. That's why you have happy dogs, not crazy anxious dogs.
Glad you showed this. Our older is actually smaller than her brother. Despite size, she always gets served first and goes out first to assure she can navigate stairs without being bull dozed off by her bro. Everything goes in her mouth including attempt to finish his treats. Glad I taught the Leave command. Anything gets dropped and his leftovers get offered to him later if he had walked away. Helps control weight too. The boys look great. The bond is obviously there.
I am so thankful to be subscribed to this channel. My friend sent it to me some time ago, like 2 years when I mentioned wanting this Breed. I have been following BWs journey and learning a ton about the breed. I have owned AmStaffs and Pitts in the past and had experience with larger breeds via friends that owned them (mostly Great Danes, Dogo Argentino, XL bully, and Presa Canarios). Last week, I was forced to put down my baby Spartacus (Blue AmStaff). I'm giving myself some time to grieve and process and consider getting a Corso in the next 6-months to a year. My dog was a cuddle bug and protector. It makes me smile so big to see how loving, cuddly, and protective this breed is. I work from home, have a toddler and experience but still taking it slow. Picking a breed is such a huge decision. I'm thankful to watch your family dynamic and appreciate all of the work and time you all are investing to educate and share. This past week, I have binge watched videos, and it has truly been helping me cope with my dogson being gone.
Your dogs are so well behaved and respectful. Your hard work and commitment as a dog owner is very commendable. Thanks for sharing your handsome fellas as I love watching Justice grow and learn and Bruce Wayne has adjusted so well to the pack addition. Sending positive vibes from Nova Scotia, Canada. Keep up the great work, Jason! 🐾 🖤 🐾
I know it's not quite the same but I took a similar approach with my cats. I give them a special treat outside of their meals at the same time each day. I make them stay out of the kitchen while preparing and I make them sit and be quiet before placing the plate down. My reasoning was to keep them out of my way, stop aggressive behavior, and to reward good behavior. It's worked well and they know no treat until they are calm and called into the kitchen. I gave them boundaries and they adhere to them. Or at least they do when I'm around 🙂
hi Jason, that is an excellent tip the way you have Bruce Wayne and Justice eat out of your hands and you give more of the treat if they are gentle, and it's so cute how I see Justice looks up to his Uncle Bruce Wayne : )
I am getting so many great ideas from you watching you train and socialize Justice. My trainer recommended that I hand feed my puppy when I first got her for a week. I still will do this some days. No food aggression from her at all. I will have to try this with a bone.
Look at that pup he's getting more mature everyday and Bruce is the well behaved gentleman and I agree with you Jason it's paramount that for Bruce's self worth and confidence that he is allowed and encouraged to maintain the hierarchy of the pack. You're doing great Jason. Unorthodox but you get it
Amen. They are animals. Not humans. You have to remember that. These dogs are very powerful. I worry so much about something happening that would result in one of my babies being put down. So as we love them, we have to remember they are animals. Teaching and training keeps them and everyone else safe and happy.
Fantastic work & really enjoying watching this story develop. You are completely correct; hierarchy, calm assertive leadership & communication are everything. Aggression = fear. Bruce & Justice completely understand your pack dynamic, clearly evidenced by their relaxed, devoid of fear behaviour. If they had little bath robes, both could play the dude...
I have four dogs and I foster pit bull puppies, so I often have two or three puppies around at feeding time, and they have to learn to get along, too. My pack members each have his or her own place in the pecking order. My 14 pound Papillon is an honorary pit bull because she is the pack leader. What you are doing with your dogs is as much an art as it is a science, and I see that you are careful to adjust and readjust your strategies to fit the moment. I predict much success. Failure is not an option. A fight between those two big dogs would not be a pleasant experience. Four paws up! 🐾🐾
Jason...another great video! Congrats on your subscriber numbers also. The quality of your videos is great and the information that you present is awesome. This video on food aggression will be earmarked in my video library so that I can refer back to it when we get our Corso. We look forward to your new posts daily.
I love 👀 watching Bruce and JJ. And it looks like JJ eyes are starting 2change colors and lighten up unless that was jus the sun that made them look lighter
Seriously loved this video Jason! From a dog trainer perspective and someone who’s been on the other end of just wanting a good well behaved dog. It was super fun to watch and understand I loved you talk about their body language. And love the boys obviously🙌
Appreciate that so much and appreciate what you do day to day making dog's better through educating and teaching owners how to be proper canine leaders.
Your dogs are so sweet !! They have been trained well !! I have never seen such a good puppy as Justice he is just special and so smart!!! You are very lucky to have such wonderful dogs !!!❤️ ❤️ ❤️ !!
Great job! I love videos like this where you are talking but we get to see more of the dogs together 🖤 Jason…you and my husband are so alike when it comes to how you train and interact with your dogs. We have two Corso’s, our male is just a couple months younger than Bruce, our female is 1 and both have Italica in their pedigree! Always enjoy watching the pack💯🐾🖤
Great content, thanks. Just a thought about the info lines in clip, is it possible to add some black background or such? Maybe highlight it better, and for some more time/each? Many times I have to pause - read- keep playing. Or, rewind to read it "again". Maybe just me though? :)
Jason I have been following your channel for a year now I must say you have awesome bro. Everything I learn from you I apply it to my pitbull and my roommate jack Russell. And also watching this particular video will be Extremely helpful going forward because I will be soon adding a mastiff puppy to my house and I needed some tips on how I could avoid food aggression and building a bond between my 6 year old pitbull and the new puppy. Thank you for all that you do and share with us and Please continue the amazing Job 😁
This is awesome, my fiancé and I want to get our Zeus a sibling in the near future and we are really learning a lot from your videos, your pack is dope af, thank you for always sharing Jason and Mrs Jason !
Jason, you're doing an awesome job!! I'm on board with you guys 100%!! Its nice to find my "people pack" ~ p.s. Love the ASMR!! I miss my pack~ soothing sounds🤗
Brilliant content I get my cane corso in a week and a half can’t wait. I have done loads of research and previously owned boxers. There are so many people that think these dogs are inherently bad. Such a shame
They are amazing dogs but they are extremely strong, extremely big, & extremely dangerous. I know that seems obvious but it’s so much more in real life/practice!! It can go bad real quick & a dog bite is the least problem. Bad can become Death, ESPECIALLY with multiple dogs.. More so with strangers/dogs. But from my experience even Friends can be not liked, not welcome in the dogs eyes. Keep researching & learning! Good luck
Our boy has started resource guarding different things. Mostly his bed. I've tried alot of things. Some improvement BUT... He's now 19 months old. He's bit my wife 3 times now. He tried me once and I growled back at him and he calmed down fast. He was abused we believe by the breeder. We had to save him. He was 12 weeks old then.
Sounds like your dog thinks hes above your wife (and you), i'd recommend her doing more training with him to show she is above him. start taking his bed with you to places near him and pretending to sleep on it, sounds silly I know but it'll be the same principle as teaching your dog not to bite you when you pick up their food bowl or this video making sure they can share their food.
Jason I got my 3rd Swiss white 10wks old today . My other 2 no food aggression they can eat out of the same bowl n yes definitely would put my hands in the bowel n my feet . Totally on same page as you guys with pack leader n Nxt in line 🇦🇺🐶✌️
When Cezar, pictured, was little, I use to take a Cheez-It and place it in my lips and have him take it gently from me. I guess it's the same principle , I just didn't have you around to teach me. : )
Hey just wondering do you use any products for cleaning Bruce or Justice's teeth? Do you brush their teeth at all ?Or use like the dentist stix things or chews, or do you find it that using Bones help clean their teeth just fine. No bad breathe etc..
Ik you have stated your not a dog trainer but do you have any helpful tips on how I could train my dog not to stop recourse guard balls, she great when playing fetch but when we take the ball away and it’s time to calm down she’ll follow me and snap at other dogs following the ball
I'm getting a 3 month old Corso/ American bulldog mix this weekend. I currently have a 12 year old calico cat, that has been with other animals years before.what is the best way to introduce them?
Freaking awesome. I did the same thing kinda but i also made my cane corso/ doberman. He knows its me my husband first plus our children than him he isnt happy but still looking for help. He is 13 months not fix i feel he thinks iam his favorite person and he hasn't pick up his leg but he been around me since he was 8 weeks old
Awesome video. I so respect your teaching and training of these dogs. Anyone can see the relationship building between these two magnificent dogs. This process takes so much time and patience and that is the key. Watching BW is awesome letting JJ eat on this high value treat. This is so different then mealtime. I have to say I was somewhat nervous watching. You not only have one large dog but very soon they are both gonna be large and two males at that. I have a question, Is there a reason why you got another male dog instead of a female? I was just curious.
I have an American Cocker spaniel, she’s wonderful, but she has horrible resource guarding not with food believe it or not, but with objects it can be a piece of paper towel or small object. She will start by running under the table and then look out! It’s war! She becomes something else! It’s so dangerous. She’s such a good girl otherwise it’s ashame.
This can be a tough process with any breed. They are behaving very well together. While Justice knows Bruce is the alpha (well y'all are the alphas you know what I mean) and waits until he senses it is ok, Bruce letting him take the bone as the alpha shows his character accepting Justice.

Just one question :
Why didnt you buy a dogo argentino i mean they are really badass and good dogs too
It would be a nice duo (cane-dogo)

IKR! BW is just chilling and letting lil dude have the bone😅

Jason, really admire your devotion and consistency in training BW and JJ.
I always adopt young rescues and hand feeding has been key to ending/preventing food aggression. Great work.
Beautiful video, man. You are absolutely killing the training and relationship establishments amongst your pack. Well done, sir!
Thanks dude

You are so smart,i am really a old cat lady
Hi Jason. Love your pack! How do you establish hierarchy if you get two or more dogs at the same time?
Yay
I'm getting a 3 month old Corso/ American bulldog mix this weekend. I currently have a 12 year old calico cat, that has been with other animals years before.what is the best way to introduce them?
Break it apart !!

Wow 🤩 he’s getting so big how old is he now? ❣️🐾❣️
Jj getting huge
🥰🥰🥰
I have an American Cocker spaniel, she’s wonderful, but she has horrible resource guarding not with food believe it or not, but with objects it can be a piece of paper towel or small object. She will start by running under the table and then look out! It’s war! She becomes something else! It’s so dangerous. She’s such a good girl otherwise it’s ashame.
What kind of bone is it ? always concerned about giving bone to my dog
This can be a tough process with any breed. They are behaving very well together. While Justice knows Bruce is the alpha (well y'all are the alphas you know what I mean) and waits until he senses it is ok, Bruce letting him take the bone as the alpha shows his character accepting Justice.
I JUST HAD A LITTLER OF 10 CANE CORSO PUPPIES ABOUT 11 DAYS AGO AND IM KEEPING I WOULD LOVE HOW YOU CAME UP WITH THERE NAMES
Lol I feel like after JJ took the bone BW looked at you like dad!!! Wtf!
