I'm glad you were able to visit the city of Wakayama, which looks stunning these days!
Is it correct that this video was recorded during the first night of the Wakayama Light Up! event?
One of the main highlights of this event is the illumination of the Nishinomaru Garden, situated on the northwestern side of Mt. Torafusu, on top of which is the main castle keep. It is said to have been created in the early Edo period. The garden stones are made of green mud schist, known as ‘Kishu no Aoshiishi’ (blue stone of Kishu), and the garden is also known as ‘Momijidade-teien’ (autumn leaf ravine garden) due to its beautiful autumn leaves.

Yes. It was the first day of the illumination. The city was sparkling and beautiful. I haven't seen the Nishinomaru Garden lit up yet, but I did see the autumn leaves during the day a few years ago. The bright red maples were really beautiful.

@@Kappa2700s I only know of the garden from pictures provided by both the Kansai region tourism board, as well as the Wakayama prefectural bureau. While Koyasan is a must-see destination by now and part of the itinerary of many tourists, the Nishinomaru Garden would very much deserve its recognition. As you said, the autumn foliage variety is one of a kind and makes for some excellent photography!

      三太子過去在大阪中華學校的春節節上見過。 這次是第二次。 這被介紹為孩子的神。 因為是日本沒有的角色所以很有趣,我很喜歡。
