Upon a recent visit to India, myself and friends spent some time (8.5hrs!) with a Punjabi taxi driver, who drove us from Chandigarh to the Himalayas. I have since come to know the lyrics are lascivious and risky, but they hold no meaning to me, thus they do not corrupt my enjoyment of these wonderful compositions.
His lyrics may have been cheap but just listen to the tunes of his tumbi and music flow of his songs. So much talent and detailing. No better time to get this Playlist for people who are looking for his original songs. Also the hit songs of Shinda and Sonia written by Chamkila are included. Thanks Saregama!!
