So, you speak Yoruba fluently, Bayo???? Wow! May God bless your mother for raising a true African. I Knew of a particular Nigerian woman in the US who’s so engrossed with American lifestyle that she detests her own Yoruba heritage. She once said she’s thankful that we were colonized, otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to speak English!!! Can you imagine such a ridiculous mindset?
Wow, you are making me to miss Naija o. See the natural Yoruba beauty of the waitress; no plastic nails, no toxic paints on the face; no bleaching of the skin.
Chai , Omo! You guys are killing it!!!!
Enjoy!!! I am home sick right now!!!

This is regarding the woman you spoke of above and a lot of others like her.

I love everything about this place even especially the fact that it's small/intimate. I love the cultural pride and genuine hospitality. The clothing, wooden cups and bowls, the banana leaf wrappers, and art and history on the walls. We have strayed too far from all of these things and it has dealt with us severely. Every thing about this restaurant helps build the local economy. I only wish maybe it was built using modern mud and plaster techniques to let it breathe

@FERESE Nigeria isn't overcrowded just Lagos. We only need better city planning (all of the continent does). Also people are leaving the places you mentioned as well. It's just a matter of preference and many government aren't being smart to attract diaspora with that kind of money through policy. Nor do they think of the impact of migration of a large number of people on the average local
