Sees Balrog statue. Clicks video. Dude say's hes not a LOTR fan. Closes video.
"Its 9 hours of midgets walking" 😑 and titanic is 3 hours of ppl on a boat, and jurassic Park is 15 hours of people at a zoo
This guy so dumb, cuz when he talk abt Gandalf sacrificing himself but how he didn’t. Yes the fuck he did, he has no clue if he woulda lived in that battle. Gandalf isn’t immortal and has many fears including the mines of mouria where he falls
Two cannibals are eating a clown. One looks at the other and says “does this taste funny to you?”
This statue is insane and works perfectly as a standalone piece. It captured the best part of the movie. As much as I like the whip, that sword is the way to go. It adds to the intensity more and the fire effect looks far crazier and organic.
I might have went for the whip if it lite up. That light-up sword is Fire! 🔥 (pun intended)🤣
I knew Gandalf the Wizard in Greenwich Village NY in the 1970's. He was a folk singer (Chris Wilson). He can be found on you tube. My stuff is on there at Joe Dush of 64 Street.
They're some of my favourite movies ever so I'm glad to see stuff like this is still being made so long after they concluded.
Yours has more paint on the flames than mine. Looks phenomenal. Most people think this is the most impressive statue in my collection, beating out hush Batman and others. Thanks Mr X.
Dioramas are my favorite this one was executed, perfect. The Light-up effect and Balrog sculpt was damn near 10/10.
huge. If i was a LOTR fan this would be a must. The balrog bust looks insane. Didn't realize it was that big the first video you mentioned it
Probably one of the funniest videos you've done in a while... I laughed my ass off.
Not a LOTR collector but i loved this scene in the movie and i think they did a good job bringing it to life. The light up feature is really nice as well.
Not the biggest LoTR fan either, but just like you, this scene was bad ass and so is the statue! Glad you are keeping it in your collection! Cheers X
Hey dude so glad you like this piece, cuz I know I will love it then. As you know I really value your opinion and you're my go-to dude for statues. Coming in this week can't wait to get it! 👍🏼😎
I did love the Lord of the rings because it does enforce the value of friendship in the journey of life. As much as I am a fan of the movies I don't collect any statues of it because of two reasons. 1 it would take alot of space to display and 2 every time they make a sculpt of a scene or characters they eather put a fantastic amount of detail or not enough. When they put so much detail, you have a hard time deciding which would be the best way to display it and when they don't put the desired amount of detail you feel cheated for the price it goes for. So to avoid those conflicts I would rather just do without and enjoy from afar. That being said this diorama piece with that light up feature looks fantastic. It really captures the scene very well. Showing that no matter the odds, true friendship is worth the risk to protect. This is definitely a center piece must for sure. It's definitely tempting me to get one for sure. This is when I must practice # restraint, but seriously it is a fantastic looking sculpt.
AWESOME ! I am happy to have this magnificent statue in my collection!Congratulations to you for acquiring this beauty!
Never clicked a notification so fast this statue I've wanted for many years as lord of the rings is my favourite movie trilogy of all time and I agree between the balrog and the witch king of angmar I can't think of better characters
I like that gandolf's base area spills over the actual statue base and creates a more dynamic layout.
He did sacrifice his own life XD. He didnt know he was going to be reborn XD Amazing Staute Mr X!!
I swear I thought I saw your review on the Prime1Studio Sauron 1/4. Wtf xD Great review man! Are you gonna get Sauron though?
That design and concept is AWESOME! :D
Very very cool... totally agree the light-up makes this.
Epic diorama 😃the light up effect is outstanding but also the concept. I love the detail in the base it really adds character and breathe life into the statue. I think it's going to look amazing next to or near that life size bust of Balrog, honestly, I'm not sure what else it would pair well with because of the unknown scale. Freaking awesome art piece💥💥💥💥💥
The light up feature looks amazing, I love it, I absolutely love light up features I know some people call it a gimmick but I love light ups, I turn mine on frequently.
Loving this piece, just wished I had the space to display it. 😄
I’m glad I passed I’d have no room lol
Love the flickering flame effect on the Balrog!
he leveled up and stole all of the experience points , also that light feature is on point
Iconic scene indeed. Thank you for the video.
That base is insane, love the statue, cool Balrog !
Looks awesome!!! Great review
This is such a bargain for the size and concept. Truly unique
The light up feature is amazing. No surprise you're wanting to keep it. It's a very impressive statue!
The light up on the sword is amazing
Such a great movie and really awesome statue. Now I want to rewatch the Lord of the Rings movies.
Very impressive. Can't wait to see it paired with the bust. That thing is gonna be bonkers.
I ordered this from Prime 1 direct.... I cancelled it and lost my NRD.... I keep looking at it and knew I made a mistake, so I reordered it from BBTS.... I am so glad I did, and it shipped on last Thursday... I am excited for the arrival this week! This is the only movie in my life that I actually went to the movie theater three times to see it.
Really cool piece!
Here's a joke for you:
A man drives a train in Bulgaria. One day, he falls asleep driving and runs over someone walking on the tracks. Well, his case goes to court, and he gets the death sentence for murder. So, he's on death row and the executioner approaches him. "What would you like for your last meal?" "I would like a banana please." The executioner thinks it's weird, but shrugs and gives him a banana. The guy eats his banana, waits a while, and gets strapped into the electric chair. When the flip the switch, nothing happens! In Bulgaria, such an act of divine intervention means you get released.
A few months go by, and the train driver has been working for a new company. Well, old habits die hard, and he falls asleep again, killing 2 people this time. The court has no patience for recklessness, so he ends up on death row again. After a while, the same executioner from last time approaches him. "You again? Dang! What do you want this time?" "Two bananas please." The executioner shrugs and hands him two bananas. A bit weird, but whatever. There's no way he can cheat death twice! But, when they flip the switch, nothing happens again. The train driver walks a second time.
Some time passes, and the executioner is very busy. After another few months, the same dude shows up, apparently having run over 3 people with a train. Exacerbated, the executioner approaches him for the third time. "Let me guess. Three bananas?" "Actually yes! How did you know?" "Too bad! This has gone on long enough. No more bananas! Today you fry." So, the train driver gets strapped into the chair with no last meal. But, when they flip the switch, nothing happens again. "I don't get it," says the executioner. "I didn't let you eat any bananas!" "It's not the bananas." Sighed the prisoner. "I'm just a very bad conductor."
on my wishlist awesome
Real cool diorama. Absolutely best scene to create this big. A nice center piece to have.
That girl from the club you mentioned - my dad used to refer to this as “good from far, far from good”
My joke for ya:
Q: Why do ducks have feathers?
A: To cover their butt quacks!
Waka waka!
Great review! I'm expecting mine to ship any day now. I originally pre-ordered the regular version as the EX was sold out. I was able to get the EX version at the last minute though.
Impressive statue. Would look great in a theater room -- even for people who do not collect this stuff.
Iconic scene from a great movie. Really like the light up features as well. I can understand how hard this would be to pair with other LOTR statues in regards to scaling. Honestly, not sure how they could have approached that any better. Really liking this piece
Can’t wait to see the Balrog bust it looks to be a monster of a piece
As I’ve already said- I fricken love this. I prefer the whip option considering he can’t hold both at the same time but I fucking love this statue. I’m jealous, and I’ll sit here and pout while enjoying another classic mr X video lol always a pleasure. Ohh a joke - well heck idk it was so cold in Dc the other day I saw a politician with his hands in his OWN pockets
For me this one of mos impressive statue ive ever seen, maybe because im a great Fan of lotr.I dont got the money for buying such a collectible, but only looking your Review is amazing.
Good video bro. I have this one as well (along with most of this line) and I think you touched upon a very good point - it kind of has to be standalone. It would be excellent if there was just a standalone balrog piece as well as this one and if that were the case I’d probably go with the conventional out of scale solo piece rather than this. That said, this is an absolutely stunning piece and it does add nice variety to a line filled with masterpieces imo
Dude, you had me cracking up this whole review. Rascist ass movie!
The X Perspective has High Value...with such a huge collection you can be really objective (minus the bitterness of a let-down high-end collectible & without the bias of being forced to love/justify a big investment) good authenticity good stuff👍
Love the piece and your work
It does have the X Factor...I'm glad you liked it.
I am waitlisted on this one. I hope I will get it. Even the light up feature is cool.
Despite some of the flaws still a great diorama.
Wife loves the Lord of the rings original trilogy. This piece gave her goosebumps
I just got back from FanExpo Dallas with the four Hobbits and this was a great video to watch after that. Great piece, but I have no idea how I would display it.
THEY ARE CALLED. VERTICALY CHALLENGED PEOPLE. SADLY IT IS THE BEST SCENE IN ALL OF THE MOVIES. MASSIVE CONGRATS, IT'S A GREAT PIECE. HAPPY FATHERSDAY. 👊🏽🥃
It's 1/20th scale i believe, also the balrog bust you ordered is 1/2 scale. Great video as usual :)
Love this review!!
If your balrog sword is on fire Mr.X, be sure to see your doctor.
Awesomeness piece! Congrats n keep it!! 😬
Fun fact: Balrogs don’t have wings. They added them to give the demon more presence, size and cool factor in the movie
8:56 into the video would a great display option it's a good angle u can see Gandalf facing Balrog both characters r very visible the flames still pop🔥🔥🔥
Great statue, love the painted on lightning effects really pops when the light up feature is on
& for the joke
"when I make you breakfast in bed a simple thank you would surfice, non of this how did you get in my house bull shit"
Man I have nothing LOTR but if I could pick anything to own from that movie it would be this statue
Family friendly channel…minutes later “Grade Heavy AF”🤣 👍
I think if you send me your 3 Pennywise bust this will fit into that spot perfectly...your welcome. The things us Aussies do for you Mr X 😳🤣🤣🤣
At least this one’s light up feature gives it movement
This piece absolutely stunning
Definitely could be a centerpiece. I would have gone with the exclusive that whip looks bad ass. Can't wait to see the bust.
Why is Prime1 so much better than all the other companies? I think they’re so far ahead of all the other companies that it’s actually funny. Their concepts are way ahead, their sculpts & paint is way ahead, they’re just a far superior company.
They came out of nowhere too. I remember in 2017-2018ish they were mediocre, then just flipped on a switch
@@TheXtremeChannelMrX Oh really? I’m brand new to statues in the last year so I didn’t know that.
This was awesome!
Awesome piece. The light up features make this piece stand out. One down fall is the paint on the base is kind of dull.
Agree the light up feature is cool but I’m not a collector of LOTR things.
There’s a saying for what you were describing at the beginning of this video and it’s “good from far but far from good”.
looks amazing one of the great scenes from the movie, definitely a keeper
I love this statue. Seriously considered getting it but couldn’t figure out where I could display it properly
Yea how they do the reflection of the flames on the ground & his body looks great, they did the same thing with Skull Knight and the light from the candles.
I ordered the inart/queen studios 1/6 figure of Gandolf and this would be a sweet proximity piece for that.
One of the best trilogies out there. And the first movie is about as good as it gets. Great casting. Could you imagine the casting for this movie if it had been made in 2021? Lol
@@rayzhang7591 Star Wars for it’s time is hard to beat. Not a fan of the new movies and what they did to the original characters.
Nice video. Now, to be fair, LOTR has many other memorable scenes beyond this (great) one.
I’ve got this piece and it’s absolutely amazing in person!
Absolutely LOVEEEE this statue. 🤘
Awesome statue, thanks for sharing.
I absolutely love this statue. If I only had the space for it.
Amazing statue! Definitely has the X-factor for me! But it is a bit difficult to expose
X, you are truly missing your calling as a stand up comedian 😂
But I couldn’t disagree more about LOTR. The Two Towers and Return of the King have the best large scale battles to ever grace the silver screen. Great review as always.
And happy Father’s Day!
Amazing piece!
I am not a big fantasy guy, so LOTR is also not my favourite franchise. I did however like this moment a lot and Prime1 really knocked it out of the park.
I don't know if it's the camera but the fire looks crazy good the glow is wicked over all I think it's really cool but I'm just not into collecting lord for the rings except the swords there's a few of those I would like
This is so badass! mine shipped from Secret Compass like 10 days ago, and the tracking status hasnt updated for 4 days now...getting worried.
I’m sure it will be fine. I’ve had quite a few packages not move for a week
hmmmm an old man fighting a big mean balrog in a cold dumpty house....i feel attacked.....lol just jkin
I really dig this piece 👌. Congrats
Mmmmmm... Balrog! This looks great!!
That is a bad ass good vs evil piece.
Got mine today Super cool! Oh, what did the pee hole say to the gallstone? "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!"🤣
The balrog scene is definitely one if the best but my favourite is the siege of Gondor (or the siege of Minas Tirith)
"What did Pluto say to NASA? Your mom thought I was big enough." I know its shitty. I just got this piece from BBTS ($4 shipping), while I do like it alot, I ordered it 16 months ago and now I have no place for it.
I like the first effects on the statue
Hulk. You definitely are not a LOTR's fan...
Huge statue and it looks uber cool.!!
As a teacher i constantly remind my students to hand in their work on time, otherwise (you guessed it), YOU SHALL NOT PASS.
You should also play Genesis’ “Paperlate”😁!
