I'm someone who didn't even know consulting (as a career) existed until I applied for a position at Deloitte (saw the job post on LinkedIn). Was lucky enough to be shortlisted, and when the case interview came, I stumbled upon your channel and I binge-watched all your videos. I have never encountered a case interview at a consulting firm before, and I only had 1 week to prepare. Fortunately, I passed and I got the offer at Deloitte! Great video but I noticed question 2 had two parts. It asked for potential ways to improve customer experience and how does it creates value. Didnt you miss the first part of the question and straight went to the second part?
Hey there, thanks for the observation! Question 2 at timestamp 13:40 addresses how to improve the customer experience. My answer was: 1) improve speed and convenience of online shopping, 2) create a more personalized experience for the customer, such as personalized recommendations, and 3) create more emotional connection to the brand. But you’re right, in my recommendation, I didn’t hit that again, but instead, I focused on the value of the growing digital sales for the business. Good catch! And best of luck on your case prep!
