  • North Macedonia is a country in the centre of the Balkans sometimes called The Wine Peninsula. They make a wide variety of wines, foremost are the ones made from the vranec (or vranac) grape variety, often dense, fruity and powerful wines. But there is a wealth of other indigenous grape varieties that also make excellent wines in the hands of a talented winemaker.
