I'll throw my hat into the ring of opinions with this: This is zero but under different circumstances. What I mean by this is that this feels much more like an AC5 song rather than ACZ. However, This song doesn't have an orchestral studio nor an actual ensemble of precise instruments. This song is like a subtle zero, it's missing the Spanish guitar and replaces many parts with the piano. Even the Flamenco style is lost on this music. Yet, it's still Ace Combat. You can feel the blood of Zero flowing through this. I personally think that this would be better as what a Pixy POV of this duel's soundtrack would be. Much to the opposite of the grand music of Zero, you could use Pixy speaking over the quieter parts of the song to try to negate the change in volume. After all, "You and I are opposite sides of the same coin"
If this is Pixy's version of Zero then the clapping at 4:00 would be him imagining the rest of 'A World With no Boundaries' cheering him on. The dialogue would go something like Pixy: "Sorry buddy but there all counting on me, just like you. We truly are just two different sides of the same coin, we both want to save lives... just in different ways"
As a Spaniard, I can definitely assure you that the flamenco vibes are not lost. Many flamenco performances are done by a couple of people, one with a guitar and another with a wooden box as a percussion instrument, complemented by voice. And the public clapping to the rhythm of the music is pure flamenco. Good comment though!

The piano doesn't carry the melody after the drop (y'all fuckin know when that is here) and the strings got overpowered, and the melody drowned out.

I really want to like this, but I just can't. They replaced the heart and soul of the piece, the flamenco rhythm guitar with a damned piano. I'm a classical musician and love the piano, but holy cow, the piano just doesn't fit this piece. To rub salt in the wound, the guitar playing the melody seems to have gone blind and not read half the notes on the sheet music. The violin is rough and scratchy and doesn't even come close to the high, clear vocals that it is replacing. I love ACZero and I love live performances of game soundtracks, but I just can't get myself to like this rendition.
The fact the audience joined in with their clapping was beautiful.
