@EsotericSanity Well I must be honest, you are right in most of that comment. Tirion in fact did have something to do with Arthas, a very small deal there. He was there when Arthas was inducted into the Knights of the Silver Hand, he gave him a blessing with the rest of the Paladins. That's it though.
@ZHL102792 i did read that amazingly short book, and recall Tirion praising arthas, but I do think i recall the votes was based on majority and that Arthas was the only one who didnt vote for him to be exicuted. I also believe that most of this book is also Retcon'd by now since Arthas=praised never gets brought up again by tirion, Arthas was in lordaeron when the orcs began rebeling, Arthas immediately set off to fight the Orcs when word of their rebeling and last, arthas is older then Thrall.
@moxi64 yes that explains them living till now, but in the manual it says they are already 5000 years old when War of the Ancients happened, the tree was created at the end of the war, thus its a retcon and they weren't really 5000 years old :D

Tirion being there when he was going through his rights to be a paladin and Arthas being a judge for tirion's case doesn't mean they know each other. And never once are either occasions ever brought up between the 2. But hey, you should read Arthas: Rise of the Lich King, because it shows his actual relationships. Jaina, Sylvanas, Varion, and Darion, any of those would have been better choices.

@ilovetuff it would be great if there was a WoW anime and then just the "background" stories like arthas en jaina to be made in anime, the main wow story is what you see when playing wow so no sense in making that into an anime.... i wonder if the wow movie is ever going to be released

That means they were 5000years old when War of the ancients happened, though the book says their in their youths, which is odd cause Night elves before the pact only lived for an average 1000years. Tirion had mentioned that Arthas was an example of a good person and wished his son to grew up like him. Though no mention of this is ever made when they confront each other. In fact Tirion goes out of his way to hide the fact that Arthas has goodness in him. Very un-paladin like if you ask me
Good ridence to arthas, he was a psycopath that damned the high elves and the people of lordaron, he turned Lady Sylvanas Windrunner into an undead. It was not Her fault he was a psycopath

She doesn't deserve it as she is becoming the very thing she wanted revenge for and if it wasn't for the Horde keeping the Forsaken in check, things would'v escalated quickly, and not in a positive way.
@DarkForceCastle well if you quested in icecrown then you would have seen the long war and buildup to reaching ICC. and then in the end his arrogance apon testing the heroes to see if they were worthy death knights is what got him killed.. it wasnt just a simple get pwned death
Not all came from trolls, humans,dwarves,gnomes, and giants are created/born from titans. Besides them, Murlocs, Trolls and Tauren are the 3 original races.
She wasn't there because of what happened at the wrath gate, no one trusted them because of what a group of traitors did and they wouldn't allow them near the battlefield because they didn't want it to happen again

He never actually died. You actually "Kill" him in ICC (He asks Terenas if it finally over and Terenas says, "No King Lives forever") where Bolvar becomes the new Lich King.

This is a wonderful video with very pleasing music. Something about the eastern style of things that has a certain charm to it.
