I found many beginning youtubers buys fake subs. You can easily see these accounts with up to 10 videos and 1k subs. I bet Spidey doesn't care about numbers. I love his videos because there are honest and pure of hobby ❤
If he did sports he'd be at 100k. Not a huge market for non sports cards outside of Pokemon. Regular comic book channels get more views. There will be a shift soon, the sports cards guys were ripping Marvel Platinum recently. Once they dip into the market channels like this will explode. Big fan of Spidey Hits he's a good dude.
Facts me too! And the women of DC are also all Top characters too. Imagine the Harley Quinn Sketch cards or even a Posion Ivy 1/1 or Wonder Woman printing plate. It's time! DC Bombshells was the last good DC card set, really good set bur mostly aimed towards the women.

Personally, I have zero issues with Marvel and DC co-existing on the same shelf. They are both fictional comic characters that each have top tier superheroes. I don’t think anyone can say they don’t “belong” on the same shelf while at the same time we all encourage ourselves to co-exist as humans on the same planet. Furthermore, if Upper Deck is blogging that they are “expanding their trading cards to include DC” I don’t think we should be too worried that they lost the Marvel license. The 2 words “expand” and “include” pretty much tell the tale. But, guess we will see. 👍🏻

I love comic books..marvel and DC just as much..and as someone who just recently started collecting again it's been impossible to find any product on shelves where I live..and I can't afford to order $200 and up boxes..so maybe this will bring more product with blasters on the shelves of my local Walmart and such and I think that's a good thing for us that just enjoy the art and hobby.

I watch your videos regularly and just wanted to give you your props. Since uncle stan passed marvel movies and comics have been descending into the depths. The cards however are better than ever but prices are downright ridiculous. Let's make marvel cards affordable again

They’re definitely should be an affordable component to Marvel cards I certainly don’t think all of it should be affordable because there is a segment of the fan base that has grown up and has disposable income and wants to use it on what they enjoy but trading cars should have some affordability for all income brackets
That's great for both if they have nice chase card's that you enjoy getting in your collection. It's only for me is the prices on the box and case. I collect all type of card's back then in the 90's.

I'm making some 1 of 1 sketch cards now to sell on my Ebay. They are very intricate. I'm doing a Spiderman now in McFarlane style, there is a big web behind him. I'm doing the webbing all in silver holo foil, taking me hours to cut the tiny pieces and fit them in with tweezers. Then I got a red bubble holo sticker for the borders. I'll cover the entire piece with a cracked ice laminate or maybe firecracker. The back of the card I made it similar to the Flair Marvel Art Cards and did some photoshop on Canva. This card will be insane. Trying to finish it today.

No hate here. If you watched the entire video you will hear how I think DC trading cards are important and that there is a void of them for DC collectors, however, as a Marvel Card YT channel and collector, this does create questions for me regarding marvel cards.
I enjoy DC as well. I grew up watching Batman and Superman. But my heart will always belong to marvel. I think it’s kinda exciting that they may need to expand looking for more unknown artists. My dream is make art for a marvel set whether sketch cards or one of many featured artists like they did for Flair. If offered to do some DC art for a trading card set I would be happy to do that as well and hopefully lead into marvel from there. What about you Justin, I’ve seen some really good marvel sketches/art from you. Would you consider doing DC art?
Hmm with this news, and the current pace of set releases I wouldn't be suprised if they are unsure they can resign with Marvel. I do have some issues with UD QC but I'm not sure if other companies can do much better.
Highly down for a green joker PmG. I have a metal gold blaster Batman from 1995-1996 I think. Was a fun jumbo pack rip earlier this year. I’d be up for new metal for sure!
I can see this going one of two ways either the first way is what you said in the video where Marvel and DC start competing with each other the second way is that they go more in the direction of like Funko, where they have all these different licenses and different brands under the same name and this could be the start of that maybe not as many licenses as Funko but similar idea
I would be happy if Topps made Marvel, if Topps Marvel Collect shows anything, it shows the designs and sets are way better looking than the Marvel Upper Deck sets.
I loved the DC Bombshell set it was really well done & after 3 series, it just never returned. They had boxes with a chande at 1/1 hand painted Bombshell Figures as well as packs with chances at 1/1 cards & sketches too. Im not a fan of "game cards" so i didnt get into any of that, however this is actually really good news bcuz in the card world, Marvel has kicked DC's ass. Im very excited for these sets. Now it's gonna be a lot of competition & cards to rip of our favorite characters !!! Great News.
I don't understand thinking DC and Marvel can't coexist on a shelf or collection. I don't care (DC) much for DC but I do have cards from the 90's. I don't like the idea of 'DC Masterpieces' naming. Masterpieces feels Marvel exclusive due to '92 Jusko set. If Upper Deck loses Marvel licensing someone else will pick it up. That is a scary thought tho. When you have Anime marvel cards, you have movies of The Crow, you have a Joker movie coming out. There is a lot of non-Marvel material and card collecting has room for every fan. I prob won't buy any unless there is original art and the price is right.
Most of us forget the vs system tcg that upper deck put out. They supported both dc and marvel at the same time. With how much marvel sets they are pushing out I'd say they are def switching teams. With marvel's current comic content the readers who have been supporting marvel for years...me included... are starting to sway towards the more adult side of the street
After watching plenty of Topps chrome marvel openings I can say I’m not too hopeful for the future of marvel cards. I hope it’s just that set, but I wasn’t a fan of really anything they did with it

It's been great having so many sets released these last couple years but with both platinum and flair i bought four boxes each and didn't even get full base sets. Im a set collector and at 250 to 300 a box its getting harder to justify these transactions. I have over 70 full marvel sets and never sell anything and I'm tired of explaining to my wife why I'm pulling so much money out. Rittenhouse didn't have the same quality as UD but for 90 bucks or less for a box with a guaranteed sketch I'd say bring in another company
Admittedly I’ve always been more of a “hybrid collector” of both Marvel and DC.. That being said if I could only choose one of course it would be Marvel 😆 I still love the dark Art and cool characters in many of the DC universe comics and cards.
Look at Funko Pops! They have many licenses. something for everyone. Remember Upper Deck started with sports and when they took on Marvel cards they didn't stop making sports cards. Maybe they are branching out. I think they shouldn't create the same thing they did with marvel. Like, masterpieces , annual and fleer ultra. Make some original releases for them. Hopefully they are just branching out and not leaving marvel. What did you think of the marvel DC crossover in the comics? Did like or dislike Spider-Boy? Dark Claw was the main star for me
UD is already a monopoly as it is ... IF they secure DC & Marvel liciences for cards ... us the consumer is screwed. As it is .. its a duopoly now with Upper Deck & Fantatics for all the card brands they have under there wings now ... I am not sure anymore whom is NOT under them .. then say .. Pro Set & maybe .. Leaf ?
Fanatics is the monopoly not UD. UD only has Marvel and Hockey. Fanatics basically has everything else that matters. Panini is set to lose NBA and NFL in 2025/26.
I think its a mistake for Upper Deck. There's only so much money out there for people card collecting in general. Sure you might get some new $ coming in just for DC but Upper Deck is gonna split their product $ between the two franchises and not double their product $ as most fans arent just 1 franchise fans. So to fund the two franchises wont be worth it for them in the long run.
My opinion: look, dc has some cool characters but they don't have collectable characters. I remember the 90s, they had some cool cards but nobody cares about them enough to collect the cards. I had 10 friends that collected marvel cards and when dc started cards we all went and bought some, but nobody bought a second or third pack. DC just has too weird or off stuff going on. Marvel might go to a different producer but I think we will follow,🤷🏼♂️.

Childhood influences is main driver first. X-Men 1 Vol 2 and Amazing Spider-Man 300 and Spider-Man 1 (all Todd McFarlane and Jim Lee art). Then there was the animated cartoons for X-Men & Spider-Man but most importantly, the 1990s Marvel Cards. This is a Marvel Card channel and without a doubt, Marvel had significantly better trading cards in the 1990s and still do till this day but that can change soon. As I stated in the video, Batman is a top 3 character but I’m a Marvel Card fan. Have a marvelous day

As it is .. its a duopoly now with Upper Deck & Fantatics for all the card brands they have under there wings now ... I am not sure anymore whom is NOT under them .. then say .. Pro Set & maybe .. Leaf ?
Fanatics is the monopoly not UD. UD only has Marvel and Hockey. Fanatics basically has everything else that matters. Panini is set to lose NBA and NFL in 2025/26.
I think its a mistake for Upper Deck. There's only so much money out there for people card collecting in general. Sure you might get some new $ coming in just for DC but Upper Deck is gonna split their product $ between the two franchises and not double their product $ as most fans arent just 1 franchise fans. So to fund the two franchises wont be worth it for them in the long run.
Lots of rumors fanatics is trying to buy the marvel license. we shall see.
My opinion: look, dc has some cool characters but they don't have collectable characters. I remember the 90s, they had some cool cards but nobody cares about them enough to collect the cards. I had 10 friends that collected marvel cards and when dc started cards we all went and bought some, but nobody bought a second or third pack. DC just has too weird or off stuff going on. Marvel might go to a different producer but I think we will follow,🤷🏼♂️.

Childhood influences is main driver first. X-Men 1 Vol 2 and Amazing Spider-Man 300 and Spider-Man 1 (all Todd McFarlane and Jim Lee art). Then there was the animated cartoons for X-Men & Spider-Man but most importantly, the 1990s Marvel Cards. This is a Marvel Card channel and without a doubt, Marvel had significantly better trading cards in the 1990s and still do till this day but that can change soon. As I stated in the video, Batman is a top 3 character but I’m a Marvel Card fan. Have a marvelous day

DC was here longer and Stan Lee was literally influenced by Superman when making marvel characters
