What a wonderful gathering of talent and resources. Marvelous presentation!
Thank you so much dear Mark! Yes it was a fun collaboration! I have quite a few battles and Bios the guys helped me with the narration have a look you may enjoy them! Thank you for watching my friend!
I live in Durham so fun to see a battle where my forebears were victorious. Love the narrators voice.
ohhhhhh you are so lucky i want to visit all these battlefield! Yes Simon is a friend fellow UA-camr and narrates most of the battles for me. Glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for watching!
Awesome video despite the outcome. Lovely figures and imagery and superb voice-over.
Thank you Paul!! Yes Simons narration takes the video to another level!
Thanks for highlighting this battle, Nick. I was well into this one about 20 years ago.
I went past the battlefield twice a day when I lived in Durham to go to uni. The bridge where King David was found was literally about a 100 yard walk from my house. Nothing like standing at a historical site and reading typical northern graffiti like, “chaz sux kawks for tabs.” Lol.
That is fantastic James that you walked the battle site!do you have a photo of the bridge ? It would be fantastic to see where the King was captured!
@@MedievalWargamer It's a small stone bridge on the south side of the road from Bearpark toward Durham...about 10 or so yards away. I don't have a photo as it was 2001 when you still had to pay for film. lol. The inside of Durham Cathedral still has the damage from when the Scottish prisoners ran amok. I mean like huge chunks right out of the masonry.
@@jvcpaints hahaha i understand very well what you are saying when you talk about the film...hahah really!?Sounds amazing!
Fantastic narration, all the best, Garry
I have to agree with you Garry! Brilliant!
A very good and detailed narration! All I heard about Neville's Cross was that the English won and captured the Scots king under a bridge, nothing much about the disposition of the English and Scots troops with the English having the advantage of higher ground. The miniature models with the famous coat of arms of the leading fighting families from both sides of the borders giving a immersive feel.
Thank you my friend i am very pleased you enjoyed the video! you can find Plenty of biographies and a couple more battles narrated brilliantly as you point out by some fellow youtubers! Thank you for watching!
