- Tour the Finest Playa Mujeres Junior Suite Room where we stayed at this 5-star Cancun Resort in July 2021. This 800 square foot pool-view suite was one of the best hotel rooms we have ever stayed at. Also see what bottles of liquor/alcohol drinks are included in the mini-bar. There was also an espresso machine with Nespresso compatible capsules as well.
The room overall was terrific. Clean, well-designed, modern, and super-spacious. There was even a walk-in closet.
The service in regards to the room was excellent. Unlike other Cancun resorts we stayed at, everything we asked for were provided in a timely manner. Whether it be extra water delivered daily, extra towels, tissue boxes, or the sofa bed made into a third-person bed for our child, the Finest Playa housekeeping delivered.
There were a few minor issues we encountered. The thermostat was in Fahrenheit which was a welcome sight, but was limited in a range of 69F to 74F. There were tea bags provided, but oddly the only green tea available was decaf. In addition there was an occasional chirping fire alarm in the hallway which the staff tried but could not seem to resolve during our 4 day stay. We were also forced to pay extra before leaving the resort despite booking the reservation properly, but we're not going to elaborate about it here.

It sure was! Kids are allowed at Finest Playa, but the connected Excellence Club there is adults only.
Does the blue L shaped sofa open up to a bed?

We are travelling from the UK to stay in this type of room. Are the plugs Type A or type B?
They were 3 prong plugs we use here in the US, so you probably need an adaptor. But you can always call the resort and I wouldn't be surprised that they have free adapters for you to use.
