Hello guys, welcome to another episode of Fix Your Finance! In today's episode, we meet Prince, who works as a Fraud analyst in American Express and lives in Gurgaon with his family. Prince is a CA finalist who is also an active trader. He started his trading journey in 2021 and incurred losses of Lakhs.

12L ki car me 4L downpayment ke baad 8L ka loan hua aur ye bhai 22000 p.m. ki EMI bata rahe for 36 months. Total outgo 7.92L on a 8L loan, waah bhai math is not mathing. People like him who are dishonest with their personal finance will always be poor.
Not only there is no interest component in it but also the principal amount is falling short.

Everything wrong with this guy.
1. Not interested in studying and growing professionally. Rather trying odd things to earn money.
2. Gullible to think that it is easy to earn money using trading.
3. Buying worthless asset like a 12 L car and high end bike. Could have settled for 6-7 L car.
4. Taking loan to put money in Stock market
5. Screwing up credit score by going for one time settlement. Can't get home loan at favorable rate later on. Also, to top it, he is a willful defaulter.
6. Relying on father for settling his mess although he should be the one to take responsibilities of home.

Don't use apps for loans, there are banks existed from 100s of years for some reason.
Don't take loans if you are investing/trading in stock market.
See your CTC and plan your vehicle of purchase.

While you are right, in explaining people that SIP will grow to 1cr if invested at regular intervals, tell them the inflation adjusted amount in 25 yrs. CPI inflation might be at 5% right now but cost of education, medical expenses, rents are increasing at much faster pace. At 12% return your real income return might only be 2%. Also there is cost of investing in mutual funds of 0.5% to 1% or even in buying stocks, please make a video around this to educate public about cost of investing plus LTCG / STCG on the profits that they book

I don't quite catch it, how can the solvency ratio be more than 1, if assets purchased out of loans are included in the total assets, it go maximum upto 1. Networth can never be more than total assets then its not possible for it to be more than 1.
I had the same question and a quick search which could be wrong states there are multiple types of solvency ratio but the ome Abshuman used is not one maybe he confused it with something else

My self in the same age of 26 earn 3 times his salary and still thought multiple times before buying a 1.7 lakh rupees bike.
