How does one become more nearer /closer to Allah?
1-by doing the obligations like salah, zakah, hijab, fasting, avoiding the haram etc
2-by doing voluntary actions until Allah loves them
3-by spending alot of time in sujood we are closest to Allah when we are in sujood (do alot of duaa in sugood) asking Allah anything we want.
4-by taking advantage of the last time of 3/4 of the night

In recents months i lost a 20 year friendship and that caused me alot of sadness. Sometimes you think you know someone very well and then suddenly they behave in such a way which makes you question everything. Khair nobody is really there for you in good times and bad except for Allah.
Make friends with our creator, Allaah knows why he removed this person from you. Make dua a lot and recite the Quran a lot seek forgiveness

- [09:28]💖 Voluntary acts of worship bring one closer to Allah and can lead to His love.
- [11:33]📿 Spending time in prostration (sujood) allows for intimate communication with Allah.
- [13:44]🗣 Supplicating in one's native language during prayer is permissible, according to the American Muslim Jurists Association.
- [15:45]🌙 Taking advantage of the last third of the night or other times when Allah is close increases closeness to Him.

This series is so great SubanAllah. I'd love for this too be a book! The practical application really help us to use the names. I was just doing to ask about making dua in sujood but then you answered it. Dua bonus points: dua in sujood before fajr or in sujood between Asr & Maghrib on Friday!

Salam shayk & jazakhAllah khain for this series. Can you include one where you talk about finding a spouse specially for divorcees. I always see istakhata mentioned but it is for when you already have someone in your radar. What can be done to fasten the process of finding the right person? My cou try is said 90% muslim but they are not obedient to Allah nor follow sunna for most so it's really difficult.

Does a person who gets monthly salary can give zakaat? Or he needs to have wealth sources that are untouchable because I get monthly salary and I can only afford living by that, I pay my expenses school etc. I give voluntary charity as I can but Zakat is only for people who possess wealth right? Can someone explain?
