Get rid of the flex hose under the trailer. Use Schedule 80 PVC, supported by hanger brackets, and add a tee and ball valve at your low point for a quick drain. 5, 10 foot joints of PVC and you are half way there.
Chet, Just a suggestion for the under deck plumbing, install some 6" electrical cable tray for your hoses to run in. It is aluminum and will never rust or deteriorate.
Chet, just a thought for your hose for under the spray trailer...maybe get some ABS drain pipe that is used for sewer lines in homes and cut it in half to make a trough for the hose to lay in..depending on the size of the hose 4" might work. 1 stick of 10' cut in half would get you about 20' for length...just a thought
Just a side note, for the under deck plumbing, spend the money on 3" stainless steel for your runs and not ever have to worry about sagging or possible future problems. That portion of your exceptional design would be bullet proof.
Tbf, a cheaper option would be pvc, with an angle iron support cable strapped along the top of it, then welded to hangers from the top. Just as effective, and easier to replace the pipe if needed.
@14:45 Hey Chet, If you cust a 6" PVC ppe in half, you'd be able to support the dropping hose. No need to angle the height, just part on a hill when you winterize.
When I went to big iron farm show I knew that I saw the trailer on UA-cam but I couldn't remember when I saw the trailer. I will say you guys did a good job with the way you have it set up.
This sprayer fill trailer is fantastic, you can get anything anywhere. Dad's trailer was 2, 55 gallon tanks on a cart. The second had a 250 gallon plastic tank.
hey Chet being a pipe person id suggest that you use a stainless steel pipe under there with a couple of flanges to go to your cam lock fittings even if you put your plastic pipe on a slope under the truck bed it will still sag
Chet instead of welding to frame m why not use beam clamps threaded rod and some uni strut. Hang off of the cross members. Then use rigid PVC so you maintain your slope easily and no chance of dips holding water. To hold the pipe in place you could use cush clamps, we use them in the refrigeration trade.
Just a thought. Maybe use some all thread U bolts underneath for the pipe to make almost exact measurements for drop angle to drain water 💧. Just a thought 👍
Chet, for your hose under the trailer, get what's called "cable tray" and hang it from the bottom like you thought about doing. The cable tray will allow the hose to lay flat on the tray with no dips.
As in plumb in a PVC or have a big enough pipe to house the pipe that is all read there. My thinking is rocks and whatever will smash it up but if the PVC is just the holder that can be replaced it is doing the job of protecting the line and creating the angel to drain the pipe.
Growing up farming, I really appreciate the plastic bottles of water. We lived on a plastic milk jug filled about a quarter and froze in the freezer. You filled it with water in the morning and that was what the three or four of us drank out of all day. With the advent of plastic bottles, we didn’t drink out of the same jug as everyone else, we could carry a bottle with us on the tractor. We could go back to a cooler when we greased and find another cold bottle. What you didn’t drink that day went back in the refrigerator for tomorrow.
I'd have to agree, less advertising, more farming. Loving the drone footage of the farm, so much nicer to see it when the sun's out and the crops are green!
My first job was washing trucks while in high school and college! Always satisfying with a clean truck going down the road! Keep up the good work Brody!
For your dad's 2010 if the pcm was replaced and that did not address the issue, check grounds from the pcm. Or pull the tipm off on the drivers side and check the wire connectors leading to the harness. I have a 2011 3500 that presented like his and a 2008 cherokee that we are currently testing wires on the pcm for the same reason.
Awesome video Chet. Brody, you're the star of the video. There's nothing wrong with being short. My grandfather was probably a good 6-8" shorter than my grandmother. DougO', i had a 2015 GMC Sierra. The ECM went out on it after 4 years. New one installed along with oil change and tire rotation was little over $1,000, key thing is that it wasnt a Ram or a Dodge LOL. 🚜🚜🚜
Hey Chet, I see you finally changed out your winter opener for a 2023 summer drone shot! Nice work, just in time to winterize your spray rigs! Nice episode.
14:35 Mount a 5" or larger Commercial gutter to lay the black corrugated pipe in. Or rip a couple of lengths of 6 " PVC pipe and mount the split pieces end to end as a trough with the appropriate PVC straps. Then they won't corrode. [Or what ever size is appropriate]
Thanks for another great video everyone. It was interesting. Nice compliment to have your spray trailer in one of the Farm shows. Great. Busy time getting spray trailer ready for winter storage. You all did a great job on it with the rv fluid. Nice going. Sorry you are having trouble with your pickup Dougo. Rumor had it you are getting a new one, heavy duty type. Are you going to get a new one Dougo???????? You deserve it!!!!!!! Your gas tanks look nice all painted up. Very nice. Heard that you and Brian and Zach and Tony are being together at a Fargo farm show. Great. Thanks for everything Chet. Thanks. The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve.
If you didn't put anti-freeze in your air pumps. they have to be turned upside down to get all the water out of the check balls on each side of the pump.
some suspended U bolts to hold that drain line would leave you the option to adjust the slope all the way down just by tightening or loosening the nuts
Dougo, you are the best, I think you deserve (and can splurge a little) on a brand new top of the line Dodge 3500 for a farm truck, I don't think you will break the bank 👍. You have earned it more than enough............ Chet, the tender trailer you designed looks like worked out better than expected for you. You are very knowledgeable for such a young age as well as more mature than most people your age. I would name your creation "Otto". Reference, Dr. (Otto) Octavius Spider......... Captain America............👍👍....... multiple arms....
Chet, If you are going to do all that work under trailer, You should install PVC pipe under the trailer pitching toward the back of the trailer instead of the flex hose. Maybe with a drain valve.
The spray trailer is really something else - wow.
Get rid of the flex hose under the trailer. Use Schedule 80 PVC, supported by hanger brackets, and add a tee and ball valve at your low point for a quick drain. 5, 10 foot joints of PVC and you are half way there.
Great video Chet Brody Erik and DAD. thank you all very much
Under the trailer put those black hoses through a 4-6 inch PVC schedule 40 pipe to protect black hose from road trash nails rocks etc
Roll the window down a little before you close the door on the kenworth it helps
Good job on the water ad. Caused a chuckle. Fit the video without being intrusive.
Gotta send stuff to the farm show now often. It came back with a bunch of other deliveries
The value of someone that will clean anything is invaluable!
It's seems to be a rare thing in this day and time .
Nothing wrong with Brody's shirt. Beats hell out of t shirts with sleeves cut off and ripped halfway down
And the shirt fits him nicely. That is a good looking shirt!
Brody is getting thick!!!! Wow
Great video as usual. Started watching Ivers Farms in Illinois. Corn farmer that run all Case equipment. Nice family operation like Larson Farms.
Chet for your water drain under the trailer, when you build your brackets put a cut down pipe as a trough to cradle the flex pipe in.
Thanks for the new opening and closing shots of the farm.
I build military trucks, so to fix your sagging hoses. We take a long pvc pipe lager then your hose to support keeping your hose straight
Millennial Farmer and Welkers already have a Clifford :)
Chet, Just a suggestion for the under deck plumbing, install some 6" electrical cable tray for your hoses to run in. It is aluminum and will never rust or deteriorate.
Great video guys!👍❤️

18:07 Long Live Kenny!
Brody is growing up. 💪
I love that you never say that's good enough and you all do it right good job stay safe god bless
Just install flat steel plates or plastic and secure hoses to top.
kenny the red head step child makes scenes to me !!!
Roll the window down a little bit on Kenny when you shut the door. It should close better.
hey Chet being a pipe person id suggest that you use a stainless steel pipe under there with a couple of flanges to go to your cam lock fittings even if you put your plastic pipe on a slope under the truck bed it will still sag
Brody .. the shirt looks awesome.
Brody I like your shirt it sounds like Chet is jealous.
Seems like yesterday you were building that trailer. Boy how time flys. Keep up the great work and videos.
I like Brody's new outfit. Looks like a UPS driver.
Use pipe hangers for the hoses under the trailer. Like what they use for sprinkler systems from the ceiling.
You probably should use PVC pipe underneath the trailer instead of hose to get your angle/downslope .
I think that's a good idea !
plus a drain valve
just remember trailers flex like crazy
As in plumb in a PVC or have a big enough pipe to house the pipe that is all read there. My thinking is rocks and whatever will smash it up but if the PVC is just the holder that can be replaced it is doing the job of protecting the line and creating the angel to drain the pipe.
Just need a drain valve .

Put valves on 45 degree angle because have ever had open valve take off then turn it and liquid runs out.
Good name choice
Brody the shirt looks great
I'd have to agree, less advertising, more farming. Loving the drone footage of the farm, so much nicer to see it when the sun's out and the crops are green!
I unsubscribe D once for all the damn ads...smh
Sponsor them so they don't have to advertise or get over it. ❄️ It was advertising in a farm tractor so what's so bad about that?
My first job was washing trucks while in high school and college! Always satisfying with a clean truck going down the road! Keep up the good work Brody!

Poor Dougo. You can't beat a guy that wants to keep things clean.
Daddy Cornstar Rocks
Shrink wrap it like they do boats
Another Awesome video . The more I see Brody the funnier he gets . I vote to Keep the Name Kenny for the new truck . 🇺🇸
Brody if a youg punk like hi. Talked to me like that when you do all the work around that place i would run for a new job
It's called ball busting if you cant handle ball busting work in the office
Get some of the Deere Flushing Cleaner, add some while flushing and winterizing 5:54 .
Product placement. Well done!!!
Nice job Brody! Great video Chet winterized the equipment!
Chet Dougo Eric Broodie that was so great enjoyed the winterizing the fret trailer and spraying for the year
You should remove your drain plug from your pump and put it somewhere where it can be found. No matter what then your pump will never freeze
For the hoses under the trailer I would use 4 inch channel supported by the lower cross braces
Nice job Brody 👍 cleaning. It up looks great Ken looks awesome as well ❤
Good Fall housecleaning. Thanks
Can you put a hard line under the trailer so you do not have dips between the stubs you weld in?
I can’t get over how well yawls forklift runs every forklift I’ve ever been around on a farm. Your working thrpedel the whole time.
All I do here in Florida to winterize, is put away the tank tops and pull out the tee shirts...ready.
I liked the snowy intro better lol
At least if someone breaks the kenworth you can ask "who killed kenny?!"😂😂😂
Maybe instead of hose on the bottom of the trailer, maybe abs or PVC grade pipe at a angle. With house connectors on either ends.
Put stainless tubing underneath the trailer
Awesome video Chet. Brody, you're the star of the video. There's nothing wrong with being short. My grandfather was probably a good 6-8" shorter than my grandmother.

I came to say this😂
Good show
Love the new intro drone footage!!
Brodie, looking stylish!
For some reason I'm thirsty for some Northern Chill.
Your spray trailer is so awesome Chet you designed so well obviously since they want to show it off at the Farm Show nice job guys!
Put the hose under the trailer in plastic gutter to help support the hose
14:35 Mount a 5" or larger Commercial gutter to lay the black corrugated pipe in. Or rip a couple of lengths of 6 " PVC pipe and mount the split pieces end to end as a trough with the appropriate PVC straps. Then they won't corrode. [Or what ever size is appropriate]
LOL pretty inventive way to advertise Northern Chill.
Chet get a 4” exhaust and spilt it in half you hose will sit in it perfectly instead if angle iron….
Great video
The wiring is definitely up to code. Farmer's code. If it works, go on about your day.
Interesting video. Thanks
Thanks for another great video everyone. It was interesting.

Brodie, when Chet picks on you, hit him with that spray wand !!!
What a great video showing off all your engineering skills. Well done
If you didn't put anti-freeze in your air pumps. they have to be turned upside down to get all the water out of the check balls on each side of the pump.
What about ridgid pipe under the trailer ? They make some nice Sch. 80 Chemical piping .
With the UAW going on strike, good luck getting parts. Unfortunately that pcm malfunction is probably from corrosion from the tail light light.
I thought you said Pennywhen you were naming the truck that would work also because of the color
Like your shirt Brodie makes you look like Crocadile Dundee😉
some suspended U bolts to hold that drain line would leave you the option to adjust the slope all the way down just by tightening or loosening the nuts
What's stopping the hoses from rubbing on the crossmembers under the trailer?
Dougo, you are the best, I think you deserve (and can splurge a little) on a brand new top of the line Dodge 3500 for a farm truck, I don't think you will break the bank 👍. 14:20 3...2...1.. Explosion... And a grease spot on the floor
Nice white tank in the background!! Looks like the other two may be being, “prepped” 😊
Have you guys seen walkers weedit system
Chet, If you are going to do all that work under trailer,
You should install PVC pipe under the trailer pitching toward the back of the trailer instead of the flex hose. Maybe with a drain valve.
The flex hose is far more durable than PVC. Over time the PVC will becom weak and crack up.
When garage door is open just push enter button to close versus re-entering pass code
Go with kenny!! Kenny was my dad's name and I my soms name is Kenny! It fits!
Will you second trailer next year for second spray crew ? 🤔
Prolly helped to build the spray trailer to be able to winterize it. Watched but didn’t follow or critique!! Impressive!!
Run hard pipe underneath the trailer to prevent sagging
Chet, why not do away w/ roll-up sunshade and put on an aluminum roof permanently and mount lights on support members ?
