- Quasar™ 3D utilizes our body-mapped 3D baffling to gently cradle and keep you centered on the pad during the night. The slightly elevated head baffle serves as a headboard, helping to keep your camp pillow in place. Packable, durable, and weight conscious, Quasar™ is a great versatile option for any adventure and makes a leap forward in sustainability as NEMO's first ever bluesign® Certified sleeping pad.

I'm normally a hammock guy. I was introduced to nemo products with the fillo pillow. Bought the quasar and I have to say I slept really well. I have three other pads to judge by the z lite the klymit static v and therma rest scout. Hands down the quasar is more comfortable. Looking forward to my tent purchase in the future.
I'm coming from. Thr static v and I can ot wait to use this!
That doubleblewide pad got me sold
Right??? We're excited about it as well!
same! my girlfriend and dog are happy
I have a Cosmo 3D and I've been very happy with it. I've used it for two years and it's taken a lot of abuse and kept right on going. What's different about the Quasar? How does it improve on the Cosmo?
Hi Kate! The Quasar has the same baffling/shape of the Cosmo 3D, but we have removed the foot pump to shave off pack size/weight. In addition it is our first bluesign certified product made with recycled materials!
I just bought the Quasar 3D. What sold me, was the 3.5 in thickness of the pad (slide sleeper) compared to the Tensor, that it packs small, and the price of the regular wide compared to the regular wide Tensor.
We hope you enjoy it Jose!
how do you like it?!
Looks like a great improvement on the already superb Cosmo 3d. Great to see the smaller pack size
Thank you! We're psyched for it too!
is this better or the tensor? for side sleeper
Hi! We'd recommend the Tensor for side sleeping. The spaceframe baffles offer tons of side support!
@@NEMOEquipmentInc Why not use spaceframe baffles on the Quasar?
@@TOOZECRUISE Hi there! We want to offer a wide variety of baffling and modifications to fit all types of sleepers! Some people want to stay centered on their pad so the baffling of the Quasar supports that. We wouldn't say side sleepers CAN'T enjoy the Quasar, but the Tensor is usually better support. It all depends on what you consider most important to get a good night sleep on the trail!
What’s the difference between this and the Tensor?
Hi there! The Quasar is thicker, and packs heavier/bigger than the Tensor. It also has a different baffling compared to the Space baffles the Tensor has! The body mapped baffles are keyed to keeping ones body square on the pad.
Привет, ребята!
Я могу надеяться, что Qasar такой же выносливый и крепкий как Cosmo? (Quasar- 30 d.Cosmo-75 d.)
when are you getting tensors back in stock.. cant find any insulated reg wide anywhere (Canada)
Hi Craig! Unfortunately we don't have solid insight into when Tensors will come to any Canadian retailers as it is based off orders. We would highly recommend checking out our dealer locator and seeing if they have Tensor Insulated Regular Wide on their order! www.nemoequipment.com/dealer-locator/
Hey Craig, just brought one at shop.bushtukah.com/ it’s in Ottawa.
@@stephanpoirier1012 thanks 👍
Mine started leaking air from the valve after the second use
Hi there, sorry to hear that! If you haven't yet we do take warranty claims for repair and replacements for items that are manufacturing defects. Feel free to send us a note here: support.nemoequipment.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360001238472
Is this less noisy than the tensor?
Hi there! It's definitely quiet, but the Tensor is one of our quietest pads! Typically when it is making noise it's a sign of overinflation. We'd recommend deflating with the umbrella valve a bit and you'll see a difference in noise!
great
