This is really great, I hope just the beginning of a big shift in attitude for RHS.

I think, listening to you, I’ve developed a permaculture garden over the past 30yrs without realising it. This is my garden. No pesticides, fungicide ever used. I started by planting trees birches, Hazel, Rowan. There’s a very old apple we’re bordered by several mature Ash. Then came various shrubs, raspberries, blackberries, wild strawberries. Bulbs and hardy annuals. I even planted my first hop last year. I’ve had nettles from the start I control them by pulling were they’re not wanted. Log piles large and small and a dry hedge. 😀

The construction workers in their tiny cars is kind of like several James Bond movies~ Absolutely, food forest architecture comes from an ancient time of triumphant celebration of food~
