Very useful!
thank you SO SO SO SO SO SO much!!!!
How does this move if the lead is shorter than the follow?
If the follower is taller than the leader it is generally a little more difficult to lead dips and drops such as this pattern. However, it is absolutely possible to do it. In this case the follower needs to go lower as soon as she feels the hand in the armpit (around count 2).
We just reversed the roles - So Karin was leading and I was following - and it works.
But again it is harder to lead and do ducks and drops when the follower is tall. So I do find myself leading a less dips and drops with tall followers.
Hope it helps :)
@@RolfandKarin thank you very much for the advice. This helps 100%.. I’ll do it next time I go social dancing.
Keep doing what you do. Love your videos.
Is this a 6 count ? Is the 5 and 6 count straight time with no anchor step
You would finish, right hand to right hand, after 6 counts and be ready to go on count 7. It would be possible to take another two counts and do an anchor step after- making the total count 8 if you took more time during the pattern itself, but usually we do it in 6 without the anchor step.
Can this be considered a level change?
