Pretty cool mix ❤I use this for my Home security a pair of concert speakers blasting in all directions I live in the High Desert so my nearest neighbor is a mile away… and this unique version is definitely memorable…❤❤❤❤❤Stay sexy…
Thanks for your appreciation! I can tell you that the guitar at 1:13 is from Def Leppard's "White Lightning". At 1:43 you are listening to "The President at the Train" theme from "Escape From New York" soundtrack by John Carpenter and Alan Howarth. The vocoded voice is from "Galactica" by Rockets. Definitely a big soup! 😬😀
Thank you very much! Always thought the original one was perfect and unbeatable. A perfect song that doesn't need to be remixed. I only made this for fun, and I actually had a lot of fun making this. I'm really glad you liked it!
@@matt_one Hello:) A couple of friends and I are making a music mix for Burning Man, and since the theme is Animalia, we are doing a block of animal songs. I came across your remix and found it the best. I hope I can use it in our mix, if that’s all right by you:)
Not really sure why this was in my recommended but I'm glad I clicked it! Good stuff! Only some minor stuff going on in the 10-12khz range but the music side is awesome! Great work! 🤘
Thank you very much, I'm very glad you clicked it! I'm not a professional, mixing and mastering are definitely not my thing.... so, any advice is welcome!
@@matt_one Impressive for not being professional dude! Those two skills are definitely a learning curve but worth their weight in gold. If you jump into this more I'd recommend a good set of monitors and a subwoofer if you have the space. I'm interested in hearing more! Got yourself a subscriber here!
@@RichWarrenOFC Thank you very much for your words and your subscription! I'm only trying to have some fun with my two synths and my pc without great pretensions... Currently I have a pair of Mackie MR624 monitors. I guess that a subwoofer would be too much for a 9 square meters bedroom.
No problem! Those are great! I'm working with about the same room dimensions here. I use a pair of Focal Solo 6be's and a KRK10s sub. Really helps with hearing all the highs and lowest of lows to get that cleanliness and punch. Also with wall to wall acoustic treatment to keep artifacts and nulls to a minimum.
@@RichWarrenOFC I don't have any acoustic treatment, so I usually try to keep the lowest possible level when listening to the music. I often thought about adding a little subwoofer, but I'm afraid to make things worse.
First of all, thanks for your appreciation! Here's the link to a wav file : www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/cmea8c6wf3chxcjrh3p7n/Peter-Gabriel-Shock-The-Monkey-Plissken-Remix.wav?rlkey=xrfavnvjhzjcdhtb2gmhiojq3&st=ef2tlff9&dl=0
@@matt_one big thanks ;) This will make for a cool, eclectic moment in set! If you'll ever have an idea for "In your eyes" definitely give me a shout - since that song is Gabriel's Opus Magnum in my opinion

Nice!!😅 I'm really happy you liked it, thank you very much!
I'm hearing some Isaac Hayes and some new wave from the 80's I can't dial in.
Great mix 10/10
Call me crazy but I think it's U2 from either boy or october.

Amazing albums! However, no U2 in this track.....🙃
One of the best, if not the best remix of this song. Great job!

Really? Well, I loved that Inxs song!
Nice! And it's a song that hasn't been remixed to death too. Bonus.
Thanks! That's one of the best 80's songs, whatever remix can't beat it!
