Diesel looked the same after the pheasant opener. Even though we train these dog on a very regular basis they are not used to the constant wear and tear of a long day of hunting. He will get more conditioned as the season progresses. Nice work!!!
Killed a limit there last Tuesday. Thanks for the willows😆 found somebody’s shell holder with a few shells in it too. I can get it to Brandan at some point
I live in Arkansas, duck hunting is the love of my life. I’m headed up to to play football at Dordt University later this year, and there’s no way I can give it up. Dordt is located in Sioux Center, so I’m just wondering if you know of any public land around there. Really loved the video man!
My dog is a very high motored dog, we haven’t been in a situation before where he’s been so worn out that he hasn’t been full throttle. I checked him out multiple times and he was not injured, just tired. My dogs health and safety and an upmost priority. It’s what he lives for though is those going out and retrieving game. Although I enjoy the whole aspect of hunting, it does also provide food for my friends and I. I am very fortunate to be able to go out and harvest these animals and enjoy sharing game with friends and family
Of course they do it for the sport. You could eat steak and lobster for the $ and effort involved. It’s an incredibly fun and fulfilling sport. And don’t forget waterfowlers are some of the top conservationists through organizations like DU.

Was it the gun or the shells?
100% was the gun. Lots of stuff going on and got a couple Benelli bumps…. Not to mention she hasn’t been cleaned in a while 😂

It may be due for a cleaning finally
