Very interesting MoW, the fact that the active bonus damage stacks on it self seems really powerfull and im hopeful we will get ways or stategies to maximize it against Guild Bosses, also the Fire Warriors being Range 3 with Overwatch Supression is making me scared
I hope the fire warrior npc hints towards a Tau Campaign. A Space marine v Tau would be sick. If tau are to have guardsmen allies, you probably want it from the imperial perspective in order to explain that these are either full Geu'vesa, or simply rebelling guardsmen backed by Tau (something like the Taros Campaign.) Lorewise I think Dark Angels would be good choice as the most "anti heretic" available space marines, especially if slightly reword to make them anti non-imperium rather then anti chaos. It also helps that the game currently gifts Azrael to new players as a milestone reward. Mechanically, Space Wolves would be nice as Ulf is good lower level character and it would nice make Ragnuar grindable. Or go all the way and just release Deathwatch, but I think that is unlikely.
That being said, realistically Genestealer Cults would be the easiest new faction to implement as they now have 3 different summons, and they could easily splash guardsmen and tyranids units into the campaign to add variety.
@@lofidante1778democles crusade or versus the imperial…hmm predictable…I don’t know but I feel more of death guards…except maladus and rotbone, the others are hard to grind…except pestilian that is totally useless
When they make a new campain, it's always with an existing faction against a new faction, so if we have a T'au campain it will be against a new faction, not one existing actually
I think a Deathguard campaign would be very viable as well, since poxwalkers have been in the game for a while (not just as a summons for one character, but an actual unit in some LREs). Since none of the existing imperial factions really have that much of a history with the Tau, and the GSC don’t have all their characters yet (unlike the Tau and DG), I think this is the more likely option

This seems clunky. If the markerlight was applied before the missiles were fired, it would seem a lot more useful. Same with the turn long delay for the rifle to stop the other MoW. As a tabletop T'Au player, I have a squad of 3 Broadsides that I nearly use every single game since 8th edition. Having the big suit in the game now is amazing. Although I really struggle to get T'Au shards 😢
I love that there are Tacitus videos on UA-cam , if you were 3 months in (with most characters at least bronze stretching to silver 3), which character would you invest your time in??
@LorthianAzoth I see. But I think it is way cooler than what Tacticus has now imo. I like the idea of it fixing its feet to the ground as it fires its railgun to hold the recoil. And the missiles it fires from both its arms.
@@francisanthonyanana7590same, imo the dawn of war or 3rd edition is a lot cooler. But tacticus only refers to the updated models from tabletop, that is why all models are primaris. Because of new edition Except ofcourse some firstborn with a name.

Some Riad Bosseshave a good mobility, but with my full T'au team almost all the tyranids bosses and the necron boss often stay pinned in front of my Aun'Shi and two shield drones, so the Broadside will be really good against them.
@@joelsmith8884 I agree hopefully they give us some units to counteract that and I hope it's not the deathguard because those guys are slow It's most likely going to be Genestealers at this point because those guys already have a huge number of units if you count the summons and the Tyranid units
I'm excited to fight Tau to get this MOW. Hopefully that means a Tau campaign is on the way. The value of the broadside is greatly impacted by the lack of ways to get Marker Light. Hopefully we will get the Farsight Enclaves added as a faction in the future, or a rework for the Tau so that they can be buffed to be one of the top teams in Faction wars.
Back in my day, the Broadside had shoulder-mounted cannons. I still prefer that arrangement, and if I get a new one, I am buying a conversion kit that makes the guns shoulder-mounted.
Late response but I feel like it's better with the recoil even if not flashy looking Shoulder mounted version would probably create strain on the suit and the wearer, even though aesthetically it's better
My first thought is the 2ndry ability might be use it to trigger an extra attack from Rho. It won't be a huge impact, but might give a little bit more damage every turn.

I quite dislike the fact that it's an extremely hard counter to Galatian. Like... You'll just have to pull out your Broadside when facing a Galatian, effectively preventing it from being useful and then you'll have your usual team + your MOW still having some degree of usefulness, and whoever's on the other side will have to play pretty much as if they didn't even pick a MOW. There's no nuance, it's straight up a death sentence. Not the best design choice in my opinion
