This knife wasn't appealing until i was in the store and holding it, it's a great action you wouldn't believe its NOT speedsafe/assisted. I bought it immediately.
Who knew you were fluent in French. Your reviews continue to impress! Well since I have never considered myself the gentlemanly type, I may have to skip this one. Thanks for the review Knife Bro!
You knpw I still haven't picked up a Kershaw yet. Maybe I'll give this one a shot. I've been eyeing up the Leek recently though. Delicious beer. I went to the Green Flash brewery in Virginia beach this past weekend and had a blast.
like the review nice work, i picked up one of these and sanded down some of the edges that were a bit sharp. Wasn't sure if the pause after "a Danish tool......maker" was intentional. thanks again
Well I really like it but it's my first manual flipper so I don't have much to compare it to. Franky from Birdshot IV said something like 'This knife is the perfect gateway drug to good detent.' If the number of hours I've spent compulsively flipping it is any indicator - it's good.
I love the design of this knife, and indeed agree it's a "gentleman's folder" in spite of the murdered-out styling. I would like it even more if it were in a satin blade and better materials, but to get a budget knife with a design this nice and action this good is a treat.
+Andrew Lewis it ain't too bad... I mean the 940-1 has a sort of darker blade too and the carbon fiber look. I like the black wash a bit better than a painted blade blade like on the showtime
Advanced Knife Bro yeah it looks pretty good. Lower ride pocket clip and ... better steel, really , would be more important to me than a "satin blade" . Don't know why I didn't say so the first time.
i am gonna get a smallish kershaw for EDC kind of use and im trying to decide between this and the brawler. I really dig tanto blades but the ball bearings on this thing are a wow. Any advice?
Heya, stumbled across your channel while looking for a review on the Fraxion. Cool stuff and might pick one up for myself. Have you thought about doing anything on the Kershaw Skyline, Chill, or Atmos? All are lightweight unassisted flippers similar to this, with the skyline probably being the one most likely to appeal to you for the decent size blade, the atmos being really similar to the Fraxion but with a slightly different blade profile, and the Chill being a bit more long/slender but an excellent flipper.
@@AdvancedKnifeBro If you would like, I have a skyline and a chill that I wouldn't mind donating either or both of. Both are basically unused apart from maybe cutting the tape on a couple packages and a bit of fidgeting.
Ive recently moved, and have several projects to edit, and many things to review... so not at this time. My stuff takes a lot more time to do than a standard channel, so thats part of it to. Thanks though, and thanks for watching!
Do they make blades in 14C28N anymore? My needs work Kershaw has lasted for about 8 years. The still is almost if not as good as my CPM-20CV benchmade mini griptillian.
I dont really find that recurve blades are a n issue. I can sharpen my wifes Kershaw Blur in just a few mins & its recurve is quite significant as far as pocket knives go.
Is that "carbon fiber overlay" just a sticker? I went to Big 5 and held it in my hand and was like "meh, don't want one with carbon fiber stickers on it." Perhaps someone can educate me? I'm not a carbon fiber expert.
I would say it's more heat bonded than a sticker. It's very hard to get any real carbon fiber on a knife under $100. Most if not all cheap carbon fiber is G10 with carbon fiber overlays.
Leek is larger and can be had with better steel. Deployment is very close on both though. If you want Lighter and more compact this. If you want a longer wearing steel option and a larger knife- leek.
Is the inflection when you say Kershaw intentional? Or is that actually how you say it? I'm guessing it's intended to irritate. If that is the case, mission accomplished. Damn that's annoying!
I love mine carry it everyday, light, holds a great edge. Walmart under $25.
Nice price!
Great Review my friend. You could honestly review a glass of water and I would watch, because of the way you do your vids.
+alittleolder I might do that next! Thanks man!
I would be interested to see what you do with that ;-)
Shit; please don't.
The Fraxion is too heavy for me. I carry an opinel with 20 helium balloons tied to it.
This guy gets it.
i own this knife and agree way to heavy lol
This knife wasn't appealing until i was in the store and holding it, it's a great action you wouldn't believe its NOT speedsafe/assisted. I bought it immediately.
Yep... I literally thought it was assisted. That detent!
Actually this knife is good for out door use I used it for many outdoors uses and it fell in a muddy creek and it still works like a charm
Who knew you were fluent in French. Your reviews continue to impress! Well since I have never considered myself the gentlemanly type, I may have to skip this one. Thanks for the review Knife Bro!
Yeah I'm not a gentleman either. People call them this... so because I'm a follower I call them that too.
I've been watching knife reviews for a few weeks now. Finally and gladly came across this one. Jesus Christ I laughed out loud so many times!
Check out some of my other ones.
Ha ha ha I carved SLAYER into my 3rd period English class desk back in 10th grade.😂👍
Great review! Now considering this knife. Thanks
It all comes together well on the Fraxion. This is now my office/home EDC. $25 at Big5 when on sale.

Delicious beer. I went to the Green Flash brewery in Virginia beach this past weekend and had a blast.
+thechugdude the leek is nice... it's small and fast. I dunno I'd start with that. Unless you can get this one cheap.
I picked up tje cyote tan knife. Looks good an im a sucker for carbon fibre looks
like the review nice work, i picked up one of these and sanded down some of the edges that were a bit sharp. Wasn't sure if the pause after "a Danish tool......maker" was intentional. thanks again
Almost got one of these; got a CH3001 instead. Anodized titanium frame lock flipper, 3 1/3" d2 steel blade, 3oz weight, ball bearing pivot. Thin, sexy, well made. $48. DHgate.
Nice... looks like a pretty sweet light weight EDC. Hows the flipping action?
Well I really like it but it's my first manual flipper so I don't have much to compare it to. Franky from Birdshot IV said something like 'This knife is the perfect gateway drug to good detent.' If the number of hours I've spent compulsively flipping it is any indicator - it's good.
Yeah... that's why it fooled me at first when I was flipping. I've never used a flipper that is as consistent... not bad for $30.
I like the ants during the cardboard cutting
Love the mall rats reference, Brodie
Ha ha.
We lawyers are offended... by the lack of other lawyer-teasing comments on this channel. MORE please. Lawyers love knives, too! ;)

Great video, keep em coming!
+Justin Roy thanks man, will do!
6:50 made me subscribe... The mall rats joke was also funny. And the norm McDonald tone is funny af also.
Looks very cool! You should ask if they'd mind sending you a Knockout. I really think you'd dig it.
+marshalllaw123 I'll try! I didn't think they were going to send me any more until they contacted me out of the blue.
Bro! I can't take this review seriously with the spider interruption at 1:13
Just kidding, I love your reviews.
+jordanZHP and the ants later!
i am gonna get a smallish kershaw for EDC kind of use and im trying to decide between this and the brawler. I really dig tanto blades but the ball bearings on this thing are a wow. Any advice?
The Brawler looks nice too.... Brawler looks ever so slighly bigger but the Fraxion is lighter... I'd go with the Fraxion.
Hmm the presentation scale just don't do it for me, it's a bit to "busy" but sick review as always brah, loved the intro!
+Howlin000 it's got an angle thing going on... but yeah maybe not for everyone
Nice review, I still enjoy the humor. Just wondering where I can get the tactical jungle camo shorts? Remember AKB Thursday is leg day.
Man... I love these things. As long as youre on a beach you blend right in!

Yeah I’ve thought about them (skyline and atmos) ... just haven’t gotten around to them yet

Runtime and beamshots?
+Aidan Powers shit... I forgot!
Nice one . Phosphor bronze washers ??
+Joe Sax shit, forgot. Yep both sides
@@AdvancedKnifeBro this is so old (in youtube years) but i was fucking around with one in wally world the other day and it had bearings.
Might have to go on a "tactical" Amazon shopping spree.
Filling up your tactical shopping cart.
If you still have this, what's the "tallness" when closed?
I dont really find that recurve blades are a n issue. I can sharpen my wifes Kershaw Blur in just a few mins & its recurve is quite significant as far as pocket knives go.
Nice knife, but I'm still lovin my Kershaw knockout. Great pizza cutter, lol.
Glad to see I'm not the only one who uses folding knives at dinner time.

Does this knife cut cheese slices 🧀😲💁😼🤤😳🤨
8CR13MoV means never to have to put your sharpener back in the drawer!
Ahh... it ain't that bad!
How does it compare to the Leek?
Leek is larger and can be had with better steel. Deployment is very close on both though. If you want Lighter and more compact this. If you want a longer wearing steel option and a larger knife- leek.
@@AdvancedKnifeBro Thanks
tool... maker hahaha. IPA!
He even commented on my Instagram! I guess the joke didn't offend him.

Glad to hear!
subbed wen I seen da craft 🍺
Beer show up quite regularly in these. Thanks man!
That was the sharpness out of the box?!?
And BS that isn't assisted....
Yeah. It's good being a lawyer. WAIT. Did you hear that? Shit! I think it's the cops! Lol.
Whos a cop? You a cop?
mine hardly locks up. kinda bummed about it.
+Ryan Friesen that sucks. Mine is pretty nice.
Yep.
+Ordinary everyday guy Agreed.
Carving SLAYER into your desk.. Lol.. I'll be surprised if anyone got that
+Jim Tangren ahh, high school!
did someone say.. tactical amazon shopping spree???
That's the most un-Anso Anso I've seen.
It looks a little Boker Soloish- but you're right... his knives are often curvy and bulbous.
Ive got a couple blades for trade if your intrested
You can hit me up via my email in my channel details. I don't have a big trade list right now...
😂👍
Hey there are ants.
+Tovarish Works yeah man... they're on a mission
You should recruit them for your reviews. Would love to see how well 500 ants can open that Boker slipjoint you had
Ugly Cheap!
😆😆😆
Happy New Year 🍻🍻🍻
Warning huge sausage at begining of video!
I should have put that in the description for SEO!
You would know all about beating wood.
nice nice knees lol

It’s pronounced Frank-sheee-yOne jeez all knife elitists know that plebeian.
Classy? looks like a mall Ninja special.
