The saddest episode imo All Andy wanted was to sing with his dad and have his parents be proud of him. But he was pushed aside and his brother given the spotlight instead. His parents didn't even want to be there He even tried to reconcile with his dad later, who in turn shut his son down. Andy can be annoying at times, but man that was rough Never forgave the writers for what they did to him in the final season. Plus it was shitty writing in the sense that they totally transformed his character for no good reason
I think they had new writers in season 9 cause Ryan (Bj Novak) and Kelly (Mindy Kaling) left in the 1st ep and only re-appeared in the final ep. It just went completely downhill from there, it felt like i was a watching different show.
@@souju_13 ya, totally. I actually gave up mid season. Totally killed it for me. All that character development over 6 seasons flushed down the toilet. In my eyes the office finishes at the end of season 8...

@@neo414 From Stephen Collin's Wiki page: In October 2014, the New York City Police Department began investigating Stephen Collins after an audio tape leaked to the media revealed a male voice-purported to be that of Collins-admitting to past sexual abuse of a minor under the age of 14.[17] A Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson stated that Collins had been investigated by the department in 2012 after receiving a claim from 40 years earlier regarding sexual abuse. The LAPD further stated that its investigation did not allow it to "substantiate the allegation" against Collins.[23][24] In a December 2014 interview with People, Collins admitted he committed "inappropriate sexual conduct with three female minors" in 1973, 1982 and 1994.
I believe it's either cause the Actor Ed Helms has like perfect pitch, or whats more likely, he's a very trained musician and singer, cuz geez he don miss'em dang notes not by a slight bit, not to mention the sharpest vibrato and low tones, I inspire on'him, dude's like a Sinatra singing
It was not high for Andy, his vocal is strong on this position, but it was high for his father. So when his father decreased, Andy was not able to thing on that level, however this tone was perfect for his father, guitar and brother. By the way his brother is real diamond.

His father is a better one with his hidden Camden family in Glenoak.
Right up there with the senator.
His dad's not much better off screen, in fact he's much worse

He probably ate a darn good breakfast that day. Damn Flynn.
What!? When Andy was playing it sounded way better and accurate, his father just sounds like someone that picked up a guitar for the first time
matthew spies it sounded spot on, I was so pissed when his dad took the guitar
Right!!! The dad played it wrong!!!
Yeah, but Andy's singing wasn't that good compared to brother and dad

The dad was an awful person. Poor Andy...
I mean why is Andy singing like that,
He is absolutely brilliant during his farewell song
